at 300mm, 1/60 f/4.0, ISO 500,

Avevo in mente di postare un altra foto ma ieri ho incrociato questo scatto di qualche anno fa in Etiopia e, dopo averci messo le mani, sento la voglia di condividerlo per averne un riscontro.... Di ritorno al Sannetti Plateau, dopo una bellissima giornata alla ricerca del lupo del Simien, appoggiata alla casetta del gate del parco delle Bale Mountain, a 3500 metri di altitudine, quando il sole era calato e la temperatura era in veloce abbassamento, c'era questa bimba che ci guardava protetta dalla sua coperta. Background and covered almost to merge with that hand which closes the two flaps of the same. Congratulations;

Thanks Mauro
I love the atmosphere and to exaggerate, among other things, I added a little 'grain, which in this case, at least for my taste, I think there might be .....

I like, I find it a little at a photo Mac Curry, the only thing is that I think lacks a little sharpness on the eyes.

Bravo!

Nice title and nice pictures of atmosphere, grain and sharpness are not excellent there ;-)

Thanks SEb,
in reality, the sharpness in the shot is not lacking, but since it was not the thing I wanted to point out, in the 'processing the file, I added the grain and a diffuse glow on the face of the prejudice in this case I was interested in the light of the eyes but not the sharpness.
It 'a personal interpretation of which are sincerely pleased, but of course every choice is questionable, so it is very important to have a critical response is downward or upward .....

Thanks to you too Max
sharpness, as I said is a clear choice, but maybe not acceptable choice ..... ;-)
The quiet atmosphere and in my underwear with a more defined image is lost in large part.
I also tried to treat differently so only the face but I like more ..

Hello Memy, as always I appreciate your shots, really significant. In this case, however, the grain seems a bit 'overdone. I mean, not that the grain there is, but I think the result is very two-dimensional, very "photocopy", almost out of focus. Even thought it was a scan of the press.
This is precisely a picture whose message is very well communicated.
Louis

Thanks Louis!

It seems to me clear and readable whether it be grain and not of blurred but probably have to revise my thinking ..... Notwithstanding that, I remain convinced of my choices.
If I have to be honest to me so like propio! but as they say: "Every Snout ...............":-D

In a fit like I do not think it makes sense to go too ... Memy technicality, I say only that it is the type of shot that I wish I could come up with, including yours, I've seen, maybe that's what I like about more ... very communicative and exciting.

Hello,
Roberto.

Thanks Feegeppi and Ratman!

Lately I would like to find ways to communicate emotions and I'm doing a little 'tests ..... I believe that the technique is not everything and sometimes leaving the forum photos are implemented differently and is often caught more directly the message .....

Honestly, the photo of departure in this case is quite good but it's nothing out of the ordinary, with the necessary precautions I must say that when I finished the job the result gave me satisfaction and I think it is much more fascinating.

MI am very pleased to see when this is appreciated, and to understand where you are going, it is important altrottanto a different point of view.
