, 1.6 sec f/16.0, ISO 50, tripod. Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Iceland.

Fantastico!

really too heavy for my taste the post produzione.hai distorted the essence of this posto..il moss green phosphorescent've turned into a yellow grass secca.la valley it seems to be on fire and the water has become gray not to mention obvious forcing of lighting on the wall "always" in the shade under the waterfall with a border too evident at the sky.
I'm sorry but I do not like

Neither do I post this shot convinced, by the words under the click it sounds like you want to document a time and in this way the picture looks forced, if it is a personal interpretation would be helpful I explain what you meant ;-)
A greeting :-)

So .. First of all thank you both Simone Caterina for comments, it is always a pleasure to receive feedback from photographers like you!
Simone: the post is heavy, it is useless to deny it .. I can tell you that it is desired, the effect "glow" very strong I like, but I still have to take confidence to know how to use properly and the picture is not free of errors , I agree with you; generally I do not push so much on the post if you look at my shots, I try to stay at least more natural, in this I wanted to exaggerate and are compromised with inconsistencies, and I understand that you do not accept them!
Catherine: the post I can say the same things I said to Simon, I think that the "weight" of the PP see, hides nothing shooting :) you're probably right, I should point out that in the description Ideliberately pushed too far in the post!
Thanks again to both !!

Greetings, Leonardo

Yay !!! After all the hype / crap last month over the Val d'Orcia, now we move to Iceland.
By Google has become the show of horrors.
If you do not pump the photo, it is no longer photograph ....
wow! wow! wow!
Bahhhhhh !!!!
In my opinion it is better to learn to work as it should.

Hello Marco,
Honestly I think there are different ways to express themselves and comment; Your in my opinion it is not the right one.
If you have an opinion, a criticism to make, it is only right that you face and I am the first open to criticism, but I do not need comments so sterile.
I have already answered above is Simon that Catherine, who expressed their criticism so courteous unlike you.
If you want to vent about the various trends that are coming out in the last period, and (therefore) the various errors / horrors circulating (includici well even someone my not offend me) do not need to do it here, you can open a post specifically for that !
It not born all learned, I wanted to try this new technique and I exaggerated, if you want me to throw the machine into the fire tell me ...

Hello Leonardo, I have seen grow in these two years of the forum and offer more and more beautiful pictures. Your desire to learn and convey something is remarkable (see the nights you do in white). This I really like your picture although much pushing and perhaps unreal. Hello Fabio

Hello Leonardo,
Forgive my comment, nothing personal but ... far from wanting to attack or belittle anyone, at the same time I did not want anything to vent repressed. Mine was only a consideration, well known, moved by the fact that recently the photos are all hyper and pumped unreal, distorting the beauty and charm of the places portraits. as in this case, you have photographed a place that speaks for itself for the beauty that expresses only the pursuit of natural light can make it even more magical this place. Here he lies in the ability of the photographer grasp it. While today, anyone who breaks with programs and pp exasperated believing he could make up for technical and neck, sometimes replacing the photographer himself, changing backgrounds, skies etc.
The shots of 'last month in Val d'Orcia are an example. shots already seen, no researchcomposition, PP desperate so pumped. I commented a few shots getting the trivial answer "I like it that way."
Therefore you lose the desire to comment, to transmit or even just look at certain sections of the forum.
Sorry if I have dwelt, and if I expressed my thoughts which, I repeat, did not want to be a personal attack.

So, first of all thank you all for the steps and comments!

Marco: I understand now, and I tell you, there are problems, they are very open to any opinion, are aware of the limitations of my shots and their defects, and this is certainly not free! I agree with you that in recent times many, perhaps too many, are chasing the style of people like Marc Adamus and Ryan Dyar, only that they know how to handle these techniques to perfection, while all of us are far from knowing how to use a having those effects.
I close with this preface, and I'll tell you what I think about it: I'm trying to find the right balance with these new workflow I'm using lately, and sometimes, as in this shot, I exaggerate. So if you get here and start telling me I do not fit certain shades, the colors are toopumped and any other imperfections that there are I'm quiet and nod, because you're right.
But it seems to me from your speech that your point is just that you do not like these effects, no matter how they are used (forgive me if I misunderstood); I disagree on this, because if one learns to use and dose effect "fairy tale" and the glow of me shooting like because of the atmosphere that has been created. To which I answer, "I like it", because not yet match the idea of ??the shot I had in mind, I still have to improve a lot and I think there is nothing hidden in it, but click "fairytale", if handled well, I like it.
My point is that I think in a few clicks (not all, mind eh not be used like parsley! If I look at myself useCBR />
Next time I invite you to express yourself more clearly from the start so as not to create misunderstandings; from your first comment it seemed a bit 'staff and a clutch offensive, I repeat, are very open to any criticism while it is expressed within the bounds of propriety and in tranquility; I'm not here to create disputes will to fight, but rather to discuss and confront!

Greetings, Leonardo

I've been to the waterfall and of course we understand that there has been some development in post production: you gave your interpretation and I must say that I personally like; It gives me the impression that the waterfall emits a jet of gold that expand like wildfire. You gave your interpretation perhaps because you convinced just a click more natural. In any case I think there is nothing wrong to experiment until a click is not really hits you really
