The B & W man ... sent on April 10, 2012 (11:25) by Memy. 15 comments, 2230 views.

,

I like the drastic cuts, and this photo I like the best would be to have a shot at least half 'left eye, I tried to reconstruct the other piece and I really like it.

Thanks Ricki and Max!

It 'a cut that I like and occasionally use, but in this case one of perplexity and on the left there is a little' too much empty space ..

Max, I did not understand how you intend to cut, I have also a narrower one that stops in the middle and beard 's eye more central or mean a cut where you see both eyes?

I agree with you Memy photos and perfect cut, a bit 'too much empty space on the left, usually when I look at a picture of all focuses on the subject here, perhaps I would have made more discreet judgment' dark background.

Bella this version!
The installation seems to me pretty much the same.
I particularly like the cut, I would not have ever thought of a cut so extreme.
Bello also bw, only negative for me is the loss of the background that I particularly liked the colors.
Memy Hello and thank you for having just posted

You're really good at this kind of work.
Congratulations!

PS: also good to max it with his drawing skills came up with a different (and very pleasant) version of the image, out of nowhere and without having with him the original frame!

If you post the color version I'd love to see it!

nice discussion among the photos of simocre, much more traditional, and maybe your just not to repeat one made by simocre involves a compositional choice quite difficult but interesting, despite the empty space that you have been the first to comment.

Thank you all for your opinions.

Of course I have several cuts including the most canonical and I use most often, but every now and then you must also do something different even if it is the first time I picture like that. I usually use this cut with parties closer together and excluding the shoulder is less empty space on one side: in this case, however, one of the things that I like is the 'shadow of his beard.

I tried the Sondo dark is a bit 'a feature of many of my photos, but frankly in this case I like the least.

As I have stated in this photo there are things I like and some less and that's why I'm not 100% convinced.

I really appreciate the work done by Max, but every time I was confronted with shots like that, I never thought that the 'eye cut in half was the right choice: since so I do not mind at all but I can not dobut think it would be better that the 'eye were whole or cut altogether ..
