La Grande nebulosa di Orione. Una regione del cielo in cui le nubi di idrogeno stanno generando nuove giovanissime stelle. La ripresa è stata eseguita dal paese dove abito, Montecassiano, con una Canon 1100d modificata ed ottica Canon FD 400mm F2,8 con baionetta EOS. Montatura EQ6 SS senza autoguida. Per ottenere questa immagine ho sommato 80 immagini (e 4 dark-frame) da 90 secondi a 1600 iso. L'inevitabile inquinamento luminoso è stato in parte attenuato dal filtro IDAS D1 da 2 pollici, inserito nel cassetto dell'obiettivo. The Great Orion Nebula.
