"Lybia tessellata" è un piccolo granchio comunemente conosciuto come il granchio boxer oppure pom-pom a causa della sua abitudine di portare un anemone di mare intorno a ciascuna delle sue chele tali da farli assomigliare a veri e propri pompon o guantoni da boxe. Nel momento in cui dovesse venire attaccado da qualche predatore lui utilizzerà gli anemoni per difendersi oppure per catturare e raccogliere le particelle di cibo! Perchè Bastardo ? provate a fotografarlo e poi mi saprete dire :-) in genere rimane nascosto dentro il corallo oppure sotto piccoli anfratti , gli sono dovuto correre dietro per ore, mentre scappava di roccia in roccia ..diciamo che è poco collaborativo ! :-)
