Nome scientifico: Pyrgus armoricanus (Oberthur 1910) Dimensioni: Lunghezza ala anteriore mm. 12-15 Descrizione della specie: Nome Volgare: Pirgo bretone Famiglia: Hesperiidae Sottofamiglia: Pyrginae Farfalla piccole dimensioni, le ali sono di colore bruno scuro; quelle anteriori presentano spazi bianchi evidenti. In riposo, come tutti i rappresentanti della famiglia, mantiene le ali anteriori verticali e quelle posteriori, orizzontali. Sverna allo stadio di uovo.
