Trovo l'atmosfera comunque molto appagante ed il fascio di luce al centro dona la sensazione che hai descritto. Forse avrei optato per un taglio verticale, la foto cambia ovviamente, e molto probabilmente soffocherebbe l'ampio respiro di una taglio orizzontale ma al tempo stesso acquisterebbe dinamicità grazie alla diagonale di luce che si innalza. Non so se sono stato chiaro , è giusto per parlarne un po', con il massimo rispetto per il tuo lavoro  , io in pratica non saprei fare altrettanto .

Emilian Avendo fatto qualche scatto montano, conosco le difficoltà che si incontrano.. Le conosco, ma non le ho ancora superate . Per me la più grossa è che di fronte a questi scenari si vorrebbe riprendere tutto il panorama, ma al contempo far risaltare ogni singolo albero.
Oltre alla bellezza del momento, per me il merito di questa immagine sta nell'aver scelto un PDR , che seppur privo di un primo piano importante, ha dato un perfetto equilibrio tra il paesaggio e la valle alberata, rendendola fruibile e presente.

innanzitutto ben ritrovato (visto come ci siamo lasciati l'ultima volta)
non riesco proprio ad immaginare una composizione verticale in questo caso,generalmente è una soluzione che riservo quando ho bisogno di creare una certa linea compositiva che si svilupppi in tal senso e sempre comunque con un primo piano importante che introduca nella foto.Questo è uno scenario talmente maestoso (siamo comunque sempre al cospetto della marmolada) che mi è venuto spontaneo il formato orizzontale.sul fatto poi del costone di dx che ti porta fuori dalla composizione mi ha un pò spiazzato perchè il mio intento compositivo era proprio quello di guidare l'occhio dall'angolo in basso a dx e seguendo il profilo del crinale portarlo verso il pore e poi verso il sole(l'inclinazione dele creste poi aiuta in tal senso) racchiudendo in una specie di cornice naturale il colore dei larici illuminati.mi spiace di non aver centrato l'obiettivo con te.

non amo i contrasti decisi,questo già lo sai,ma stavolta ho voluto lasciare ancora più morbido ,per applicare il "mio" solito contrasto solo nella zona dei larici per dargli più evidenza,non sono del tutto convinto del risultato(non sai quanto ho litigato con Fabio Marchini su questo aspetto) ma alla fine ho deciso per questa soluzione in attesa del riscontro di qualche utente del forum.Posso capire le perplessità tue e di molti altri a riguardo,anche perchè siamo abituati sul web ad immagini molto forti,colorate,contrastate, nitide e di forte impatto visivo..sai che io non seguo certe correnti ma vado per la mia strada,spero solo di incontrare qualcuno lungo il mio cammino aktrimenti alla lunga ho paura che dovrò fermarmi e tornare a casa

in fotografia di paesaggio credo che bisogna sempre concentrarsi su qualcosa di particolare,non si può volere tutto,in questo caso la maestosità del paesaggio mi ha catturato lo sguardo,composta l'immagine ho aspettato più di un'ora con la macchina pronta allo scatto e telecomando in mano perchè prima o poi un raggio di sole doveva uscire e avrebbe illuminato il bosco,non ho pensato altro che a quello,mi interessava solo quel raggio di luce.

sono consapevole di aver fatto una scelta sulla post produzione molto impopolare,sto valutando tutte le soluzioni e i pareri che mi arriveranno,li tengo tutti gelosamente in archivio,ma non voglio farmi condizionare troppo altrimenti verrebbe vanificato il mio percorso fotografico.credo tuttavia che un pò di contrasto la foto la chiama sicuramente e un'altra cosa che mi è balzata agli occhi di recente (è un mese che sto elaborando questa foto) è che ho tenuto troppo chiara la prima parte di costone a dx e forse è anche quello che fa storcere un pò il naso a tutti o quasi.
So benissimo che anche tu ad esempio prediligi contrasti sìcuramente più decisi ma mi ha fatto piacere che tu sia riuscita ad andare oltre il gusto personale e apprezzato l'immagine nella sua intierezza.grazie
