con Canon EF 2.0x III, 1/3200 f/8.0, ISO 320, hand held. Yellowstone National Park, United States. Specie: Canis latrans

Commenti e critiche graditi. A presto. Ale

I have been to Yellowstone in June, but even the shadow of wolves ...:-(

Thank you guys.
Duell, this is a female coyote, with a great hair but always a coyote. The wolves do not implement this hunting technique that is performed instead by foxes and coyotes. The best time to spot the animals is that of May, then start to get a lot of tourists and they also seek to distance themselves a bit. This was taken near the Madison River! E 'was a stroke of luck to be honest. We were passing by car and we saw him in the distance. We got off because the situation could grow well. There was still snow and she walked quiet. We waited and hoped started hunting .... so he did. 8-) The Lamar is great for any type of sighting, bears, wolves, coyotes, elk, etc ... there's only one problem: the distance! ;-)
A greeting!
Aand

;-)
But imagine! Last year, by far, is that I also go there for years that followed I exchanged a coyote for a wolf! It was huge !!!! wow wow!
In any case, it is not so easy to see even in Yellowstone, where there are enough anyway. In recent years, the reduced presence of deer has also dramatically lowered their number (nearly 50%). But with a little 'patience and luck are and photographing. Last year we photographed with the prey (deer) and all dirty with blood. In fact, it was actually a female, too. In the area of ??Mammoth.
In a little 'maybe place the photo ...
