, Posa B f/4.0, ISO 800, tripod.

Via lattea in Cassiopea.

Stefano is back! I noticed your absence:-) is also excellent this despite the absence of the dark, I do not, however, I would have noticed:-D as you are with the new astroinseguitore? Note the differences with those used before? Greetings, Beppe

Thanks Beppe, friendly as ever;-)

The new StarAdventurer the Skywatcher I love so much. Beautiful materials, excellent finishing and the polar scope, on the copy in my possession, arrived collimatissimo. The adjustment for latitude and azimuth is very smooth and precise. By tightening the locking lever does not move the polar and everything becomes very solid. On tracking (but I was at 28mm) I have not noticed any difference with the ioptron Skytracker.
Although astroinseguitori, I think it is unfair to compare them. The staradventurer (guider and the possibility of a better balance) by the feeling of starting where the -giustamente- Skytracker reach. It is a product geared more to astrophotographers while ioptron can do more throat photographers as night scenes or amateurs who do not needto use the 85mm focal above. Anyway I will keep you updated ... I have in mind a series of tests (with and without autoguiding) with various focal lengths.

Very well! its design is very attractive, so I liked it immediately when I saw it for the first time in a video statement from a trade show in Tokyo. But then I took the iOptron Smarteq Pro not finding it helpful. Hello to the next Stefano, in anticipation of your new photos! Greetings, Beppe

Hello!
Congratulations for the photo, it is beautiful!
Little OT:
I also bought me the star adventurer, and indeed it is quite another thing than the 'small' vixen polarie (I owned) and ioptron.
I use it with the small TS apo65q and D610, and up to 2min installation guide is not usable (I ancpra try to lengthen the time, actually).
A few days ago I tried to make a wide range of Cassiopeia, with 50mm and CLS filter (screw) but without success. At the edge there was a purple halo that even with the flat I was able to correct ... And I do not speak of mechanical vignetting filter! You use a filter to clip or screw? The field of view between 28 and 50 on aps on FF is comparable to the end, the light is at an angle anyway! Thank you and congratulations again to the wide field to leavespeechless!

Thanks Andrea and Yarosia !!! ;-)

X Yarosia: what you describe is one of the reasons for which are not yet past the ff (but sooner or later I will;-)).
This format is much more difficult to manage even with the most renowned optics. Surely the vignetting filter and screw being 'far away' from the sensor causes vignetting.
I use the on Aps-c hutech and Astronomik EOS clip. Until a few months ago there was nothing comparable on FF but lately I've just seen the Astronomik CLS for FF:
www.astronomik.com/en/clip-filter-fur-canon-vollformat.html

Unfortunately, there are only for Canon but in the future - I think - will come also for Nikon.

Software that you use for processing?

Oh yes ... I am past the FF for landscape, taking into account only the benefits of the sensor.
I hope in a clip for nikon ...
We currently use DSS and photoshop, but I would like to inform me well on PixInsight or maxim and try the demo at least a theoretical basis behind, not to waste the days :)
I look forward to your feedback with an autoguider!
