La Grand Prismatic Spring vista dalla collina posta alle sue spalle. Ho scelto di pubblicare la foto di questa meraviglia della Natura come primo scatto della nuova serie dedicata al fantastico (e come potrebbe essere altrimenti..) viaggio di questa estate perchè ben rappresenta uno dei tanti momenti emozionanti che ho vissuto nei quasi 6.000 km percorsi in auto attraverso sette stati della confederazione degli Stati Uniti. Purtroppo in questo caso non sono stato particolarmente fortunato.. Il Sole mi ha abbandonato proprio mentre mi accingevo a risalire il pendio della collina e, poco dopo il mio arrivo nel punto da dove ho scattato questa foto, ha iniziato a piovviginare facendomi desistere dalla mia idea di salire ulteriormente alla ricerca di un migliore punto di ripresa e "costringendomi" a ridiscendere sotto una pioggia che poco a poco si intensificava.. eppure, nonostante tutto, lo ricordo come un momento particolarmente emozionante!!
