I don't understand what you mean with your request of some advice, anyway I hope don't say too much or something that you already know:
one of this picture is usually a result of a series of shoot: from 100 to 200 shoots of 30", 1600/3200 iso, at the max open of the optic; continuous shooting ... take some dark frame (5 to 10 to reduce the noise) and unite all of them in one picture using starstax (free on web) is not easy to write here .. try to have a look at this:

or some other web site concerning startrail.
Taking only one picture is almost impossible to make a startrail

The origin of the coloured dots, even at such low ISOs level, has a thermal nature and increases with temperature ( thermal or Johnson noise ). Due the long exposure, temperature of the sensor and other circuits increased the agitation of electrons in the conductive materials, leading to this kind of disturbs.
