Murale di fuori di un centro diurno per anziani. Un'immagine molto minore, ma quello che mi ha affascinato. Dopo l'arte di strada colorata ultra cool di Brighton e al mio ritorno a casa da fotografare una splendida e antica chiesa cattedrale, ho dovuto cambiare autobus in una delle piuttosto deprimente agglomerati suburbani moderni che hanno una grande percentuale dei residenti pensionati e gli anziani come. Questa corsa molto noioso giù edificio del 1960 ha avuto questo piuttosto bel murale esterna che devo ammettere, se fossi 80 anni + certamente farebbe sentire davvero piuttosto a casa e accogliente. A very minor image but one that appealed to me. After the ultra cool colourful street art of Brighton and on my way back home from photographing a stunning old Minster Church, I had to change buses in one of those rather depressing modern suburban sprawls that have a large percentage of the retired and elderly as residents.
This very boring run down 1960's building did have this rather lovely mural outside which I must admit, if I were 80 years + would certainly make me feel really rather at home and welcoming. |

Come suggerisce il vostro tua scrittura, questo non ha un 'sentirsi bene' fattore!
E 'un peccato che ero malessere mentre si stavano visitando il ministro - sarebbe stato molto facile incontrare lassù e forse mi avrebbe finalmente hai foto di quel soffitto che potrei essere davvero felice con. Devo ammettere, non ho provato in un po '- forse farei meglio ora!
La bomba è stata fatta esplodere come previsto - ho sentito un botto e un brevissimo pennacchio di fumo .... non molto drammatico fotograficamente parlando!

It's a shame that I was unwell whilst you were visiting the minster - it would have been very easy to meet up there and maybe I would finally have got a photo of that ceiling that I could be really happy with. I must admit, I haven't tried in a while - maybe I'd do better now!
The bomb was detonated as planned - I heard a bang and the briefest plume of smoke.... not very dramatic photographically speaking!

Thank you Ann. This was at Ferndown, I found out (after getting bus from Bournemouth) that I could save half the journey time back by changing onto the X6 Poole-Ringwood bus at Ferndown. (Even that bus seemed to go around every single housing estate and cul de sac in West Moors, Three Legged Cross and Verwood. It ran late and so missed the connection for Salisbury in Ringwood. So, it did save some time but still a pulava. But worth bearing in mind if I ever consider a return. I had 20 minutes wait in Ferndown and so had a little wander. I sense that this care facility might be for
sufferers of alzheimers.
It was unfortunate that I decided to revisit to Wimborne after two years (Jul 2014) for the first time yesterday but as know, I was wanting to go on a bit further than just Bournemouth and with very limited cash and with weather outlook bleak, thought it'd be as good time as any to revisit the Minster, with newer camera and slightly faster lenses. These were already packed from Winchester yesterday. I'm not too sure if I would have been brilliant company anyway and knowing that you weren't 'available' meant that I was not tempted to text you "guess where I am!"
I was told by the current exhibiting artist in the Minster that the blue ceiling is "unphotographable". I say now that I will post up here on Juza my 2016 version of the exact same as my 2014 one, maybe tonight or in the morning. My best and favourite part though, was the Crypt, which was inspired by you, for which I thank you, I didn't seem to have gone down there last time - I had lots of fun down there with the 10mm!!
I suspect that it was the intention of the detonators that it was not 'photographically dramatic'! |

Tra l'altro, ho avuto piena permesso di fotografare e mettere tra 2 e 3 sterline in cambio di una donazione. Ero in Minster per circa due ore, mentre l'organo è stato testato - non molto facile esperienza di ascolto! Ho pranzato al The Man in the Wall (Whetherspoons, così, a buon mercato!), Poi è uscito il sole un po 'così ottenuto alcune belle esterni del Minster con il colore in ritardo autunnale. Ogni pensiero su esplorare la città più sono stati abbandonati. By the way, I got full permission to photograph and put between 2 and 3 quid in change in as a donation. I was in the Minster for about two hours, whilst the organ was tested - not a very easy listening experience! I had lunch at The Man in the Wall (Whetherspoons, so, cheap!) then the sun came out a little so got some nice exteriors of the Minster with late autumnal colour. Any thoughts on exploring the town further were abandoned. |

La mia parte preferita è la cripta, troppo - una straordinaria varietà di archi! Ho sempre guardare fuori per una cripta in antiche chiese - sono spesso luoghi molto speciali.
Anch'io ho chiesto il permesso per fotografare in Minster - non sembra essere un problema. L'uomo nel muro è un buon posto per mangiare - come dici tu, un prezzo ragionevole, ma anche un ambiente piuttosto bella. Wimborne non è una città molto grande da esplorare .... My favourite part is the crypt, too - a wonderful array of arches! I always look out for a crypt in old churches - they are often quite special places.
I, too, have asked permission for photographing in the minster - it doesn't seem to be a problem. The Man in the Wall is a good place to eat - as you say, a resonable price but also quite a nice environment. Wimborne's not a very big town to explore.... |

Probabilmente hai ragione, Tim. Non sto davvero pensando di oggi dritta. Avendo a funzionare ma la testa davvero troppo confuso con il freddo di farlo. Io non sono stato fuori oggi, tranne per ottenere la spesa settimanale in, deciso di mettere tutti gli sforzi in una bella passeggiata da qualche parte in alto domani. (E a prendere il 400 millimetri di zoom).
Raffreddori ottengo sento come la mia testa è stata riempita con cemento liquido, rimosso, scosso e poi mettere di nuovo sul modo sbagliato ... quindi so come ti senti ....! No, it's me pumping up the excitement, shows how sleepy your part of Dorset is for such to make major news!!
I've not been out today except to get the weekly shop in, decided to put all efforts into a good walk somewhere high up tomorrow. (And to take the 400mm zoom).
Colds I get feel like my head has been filled up with liquid concrete, removed, shaken and then put back on the wrong way round... so I know how you're feeling....! |

Credo che sia abbastanza sonnolenta qui, ma io amo la sua tranquillità e il fatto che ci sia una tale varietà di luoghi posso visitare - sia esso città, paese o costa - (! In auto, che è) a portata di mano. Voglio solo la parte 'città' a piccole dosi però!
Domani Dovrebbe essere una bella giornata, quindi sarà un grande giorno per voi per uscire e ottenere un po 'a piedi in. Spero mi sentirò in grado di uscire per un'ora o giù di lì, se non è troppo vento. Non vedo l'ora di vedere cosa vi riporterà! I guess it is pretty sleepy here but I love its quietness and the fact that there is such a variety of places I can visit - be it town, country or coast - within easy reach (by car, that is!). I only want the 'town' part in small doses though!
Tomorrow's supposed to be a beautiful day, so it will be a great day for you to get out and get some walking in. I'm hoping I'll feel able to go out for an hour or so, if it's not too windy. I'll look forward to seeing what you bring back! |
