Now, after liking this earlier, quickly viewed then, I'm looking at it again and differently - indeed a beautiful balance, uplifting and indeed spiritual.
Glad you liked my dog walker - was out early as I picked up the new 18-140mm lens from the sorting office just after at 7 a.m (they tried to deliver whilst I was in Swindon ((exhausting day!)) and he was the only person I saw all morning in my favourite local woods the other side of Wilton. The lens is much easier and more pleasant to use than the old 18-200mm it replaces and you can use it any aperture and focal length with confidence. This one was at full stretch 140mm. Many test images but I'm also glad to have got a memorable one too. It was quite a surprise to hear a faint rattle behind me, I expected a mountain bike and was most surprised to see a scooter! I thought at the time that in thirty years time, that I'd still be enjoying the woods, whatever it took. It was obvious he knew them well as he made a comment that could only mean so. |

Grazie, Tim! Questo è stato in una chiesa molto moderna, che nel complesso non ha avuto molte cose per catturare il mio interesse per mezzo della fotografia, fino a quando sono andato sul balcone per una migliore visione delle vetrate. Allora ero molto più interessato!
Grande che avete ottenuto il vostro nuovo obiettivo e sta godendo di esso. Sono d'accordo con i vostri sentimenti riguardo ancora uscire per godere della bellezza dei dintorni, anche negli anni a venire, quando può significare trovare nuovi modi per uscire e circa! Thanks, Tim! This was in a very modern church which on the whole didn't have many things to capture my interest by way of photography, until I went up onto the balcony for a better view of the stained glass. Then I was much more interested!
Great that you've got your new lens and are enjoying it. I agree with your sentiments about still getting out to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, even in years to come when it may mean finding new ways to get out and about!
