beautiful subject and shooting wow! wow!
particular attention would be appropriate and consequent protection to a subject that by its nature can be considered a prize catch for collectors / embalmers / poachers ... :-( :-(
I think the most rational solution, bypassing private nature organizations and everything else, is to contact the State Forestry Corps ;-)
thanks for having posted and have raised the issue.
keep us informed ;-)
a warm greeting, paul

I think you can also write on the Forum and open debate.
I hope for all of us to give advice.

Dear John,
already the right step you did, feeling the forest, I hope not by mail, but by phone or both of the modes.
The forest is the only institution that can intervene in these matters. However, I do not understand why the animal approaches the man and why you see it often in that place, maybe you should investigate if someone from easy food, this compromises the very future of the animal itself (The deer It seems in very good condition and the look is sure, most likely know where to go).
Most likely the forest is already handling the case, we do not make any initiative on his own.
Tuscany is home environmentalism Italian, there are many circles Legambiente and WWF, Look at the site national circles of your territory and warn them.
You can not do anything else, too much advertising, on these things, endanger the animal. It came to mind an important detail, since the animal has a certain rarity intrinsic worth more alive than dead, then, with volunteer groups that I mentioned, you can control the territory if it is free from traps. There are plenty of private farms squatters illegally holding animals, also of a certain rarity, it is they who would buy at any price the specimen, then you believe nature lovers.

I understand your fears and your state of anxiety for the deer, unfortunately our forests are too small and the people are many, therefore, the animals, when I come to any causeno contact with the man, then their behavior is no longer wild, from here all the risks.
we hope well. :-) Wow!
