From your photo you can also see the feature more 'obvious distinguishing the two species, the cap is black in Pellegrino in Lanner instead is rust-colored. Congratulations to the meeting and shooting

We hope you do review where I photographed it, maybe take it to some other location.
You know that I tried on Juza photos using the keyword Lanner and it's true, there are not many photos as the others, but I've seen some great pictures on land. I have already made an extra copy on an external hard drive to your PC from this and the other two that I added to the gallery 2 raptors. There are also red kites but yours and Dexter are unaffordable for quality and camera angles.
A greeting and thanks Vincenzo, I was pleased to reread on my photos.
Antonio.

Thanks Bern, unfortunately, I do not know if you read the caption, I was not given many opportunities, more than three shots posted, so close, I did not do. It's okay though, then you never know .....
A greeting.

Antonio.

Thanks Clara, I got excited thinking it was a pilgrim, then when I posted and I was told it was a Lanner is becoming rare that I realized that I'll have to try him again to give us a few more clicks. :-)

the most reliable diagnostic character in flight to distinguish from the Lanner pilgrim is the contrast between the bottom of the wing coverts and dark flight feathers clear ............. visible subject photographed

in adults also cheat the lower parts of the pilgrim than the punctuation of Lanner Cheh also strikethrough only slightly on the sides

among young people and among the various subspecies of peregrine speech UNPO gets more complicated and the character of the mustache becomes unreliable

Thanks Sigismondi, your deep understanding of birds of prey is and will certainly be useful to many of Juza, hope to regain the possibility of retaking the Lanner and, one day, it very pacerebbe the pilgrim, even if I did not photograph it, at least to see him, a Greetings and thanks again.

thanks Antonio

however you are Lazio or wrong ??

Lazio is full of pairs of Pellegrino, indeed in recent years the pilgrimage has replaced the Lanner in the few known sites of species ................. a real invasion
