Se non ci fossero state le due barche (che diventano quasi i soggetti principali) il compo in sè sarebbe stato troppo "silenzioso" e statico. Inoltre la geometria particolare delle due scie contrastano la "morbidezza" dell'insieme, bilanciando un compo, dove l'isola sembra apparire con timore nella luce evanescente del quadro. Secondo me in questa situazione fotografica, le due scie sono fondamentali, senza queste non avrei nemmeno fatto lo scatto!
