Chiunque sia stato in Africa, almeno una volta, sa bene che il compito di rifornire di acqua la casa spetta sempre alle donne, fin da quando sono poco più che bambine. Certo, la cruda verità è che questo (discutibile) uso trae le sue origini dalla cultura africana, cultura per la quale tutti i lavori più umili devono essere svolti esclusivamente dalle donne, o in subordine dai bambini.
