Questo è il posto più strano e spettacolare che abbia mai visto...il cratere infuocato di Darvaza, in Turkmenistan! Negli anni 70, durante alcune trivellazioni per l'estrazione di gas naturale, ci fu un'esplosione che creò un cratere largo 70 metri e profondo 30. Non potendo arginare l'immensa fuoriuscita di gas, fu deciso di dargli fuoco, credendo che si sarebbe esaurito nel giro di qualche giorno.
