sony nex 3 - kiron 105 macro 2.8 Suggerimenti e consigli graditissimi.

Beauty photo aside, technically excellent, it is precisely the moment when the subjects are portrayed which is really cool :)

Congratulations on the EP and the amazing image. I too would like to better understand this sentence: the second we found it more 'late on the lawn and then I created this composition. It means that you've moved the butterfly? In the explanation to say that 11 came the breath of wind, but at 11 the butterflies were still stuck? With the dew on the antennae? Or the photo above?
The questions are not intended to steal secrets, but to better understand the construction of this beautiful image.
Thanks in advance.

hello danvigo who knows me knows that I have no secrets and I tend to disclose. Unfortunately, many do not even put the shooting data but I pointed to everything and more ': butterflies normally when you are at 6 am are stuck because still cold. with the sun warming open wings heat up and fly. normally when you are shooting you tend to do so for obvious reasons the shadow of light and to ensure that the butterflies do not overheat. This is the explanation of why at 11 you are still unable to photograph. initially on the perch was not a single butterfly. I have some unpublished shots where there is' just her. while shooting I noticed that next to me there was another pontia edusa that I placed on the perch coming to the composition that you saw in the final photo. I intend to put to place without touching your hands to prevent causing damage to the subject but cutting the grass stem where he was and with coadiuvandosi andxed position on the new roost. thanks for the "strepistossa image" if you have additional questions or concerns ask as well .. no secret indeed Juza also serves to disseminate this. and hello to the next

Thank you for the very thorough explanation. Sorry if I repeated the request of another user, but around (not sure if even here on the site) you will see and hear a lot of people that touches insects or worse. Personally I find it deplorable and I believe that these practices should be reported at least under the photo, a little 'how to do it (should be done) for animals in captivity portraits.

Flavio, this is, for me, of course, one of your most beautiful pictures of butterflies. The simple elegance of the two butterflies is emphasized, by contrast, the messy, chaotic twisting of the two seeds. Bravissimo.
