NOn I like the term Monster. It's a fascinating creature that teaches us to be in the world. teaches us that the purpose of the species is its evolution: man should die at 60. living more does not benefit the species

Perseverance rightly rewarded with a great shot; I had seen only one, when I was a child, in the late 60s and I went with my parents on holiday to Marina di Massa (my father took me fishing, by chance :-D, along the banks of the Magra), but it was dead and already almost decomposing; however, I remember that at the time I was impressed by those rather peculiar forms. A few years ago, dealing with a graphic file obtained from a software for fractal drawings, modifying (at random, not even with knowledge of cause!) some parameters came out a result that simulated incredibly well the entire front of the lamprey, including gill chambers; of the series that even with the most abstruse software man really invents something new, nature has already abundantly anticipated it.

You can see it's a prehistoric specimen... on the new ones the gills put them on the front... joke obviously :-D
Ipicoly, curious, beautiful image and to me the appearance of the fish amuses as well.

Photography is a source of infinite knowledge and this important naturalistic document of yours is tangible proof. The image made you feel sorry for it but it was worth insisting. It really seems like a prehistoric being, it's maybe it really is. I'd like to know what that series of circular holes are on the side of the lamprey. Incredible shot and Juza has chosen well in giving you the right EP. Super congratulations.
bye gios ;-)

A true sea monster that Giulio Verne could have turned into a submarine, congratulations on the capture!

Monstrously gorgeous.
I don't know anything about underwater but it's so sharp that it looks like it's computer-drawn.
Compliments
