Alcuni anni fa, trafficando con un file grafico ottenuto da un software per disegni frattali, modificando (a caso, nemmeno con cognizione di causa!) alcuni parametri ne venne fuori un risultato che simulava incredibilmente bene l'intera parte anteriore della lampreda, camere branchiali comprese; della serie che nemmeno con i software più astrusi l'uomo inventa veramente qualcosa di nuovo, la natura lo ha già abbondantemente anticipato.
