Non avevo ancora caricato una foto del viaggio a Sumatra dello scorso anno. E' sempre un'esperienza bellissima da vivere in mezzo alla giungla. Questo "piccolo" al momento dello scatto aveva pochi anni ma continuava a vivere assieme alla madre, anche se la sua indipendenza si notava benissimo. Non aveva paura di noi, anzi, era molto amichevole e decisamente giocoso. Usava le grandi foglie come strumenti, sia per ripararsi dall'acqua sia per sbatterla su di essa e divertirsi. Bellissima esperienza che sarà difficile dimenticare. Il rovescio della medaglia è che, esclusa una piccola parte per ora ancora protetta, il loro spazio vitale si sta via via riducendo. Le piantagioni delle palme, usate per l'olio di palma, si possono vedere a perdita d'occhio, per km e km. Questi animali sono realmente in pericolo. Tra pochi anni non avranno più un ecosistema dove poter vivere. Nel nostro piccolo sarebbe importante aiutarli. Un saluto a tutti. Ale
