Settembre 2018 – Katmai NP (Alaska) Non un viaggio, ma una vera e propria avventura fotografica con GVF accompagnati da Alessandro Beconi. Una mattina di primavera Alessandro mi chiama e mi propone di andare a fotografare gli orsi. Gli chiedo se finalmente si è mosso qualcosa per la Finlandia. Mi dice: “niente capanni, sarai tra i grizzly”. Gli dico che sta scherzando. Mi conferma che è tutto vero e mi suggerisce di dare un'occhiata alle foto su Juza. Dopo 10 minuti ha il mio ok. Nel frattempo nella mia mente risuonano le sue parole: “…sarai tra i grizzly…”. Eravamo in 5 (…e siamo ritornati in 5). Eravamo partiti con l'intenzione di arrivare in Katmai… ci siamo arrivati con due deviazioni, prima il Denali Np e poi il Kenai Fjords NP. In questo viaggio abbiamo utilizzato aerei di ogni dimensione, dormito nei posti più disparati (motel, auto, tenda…) e vissuto fortissime emozioni circondati, per una settimana, da tantissimi maschi adulti di grizzly intenti a pescare salmoni. Ringrazio l'amico Pier (Nangi) per essersi dedicato alla postproduzione del mio scatto. Vi consiglio di dare un'occhiata alle sue bellissime foto. Lo scorso anno è stato anche lui in Alaska ed ha saputo catturare ottimamente l'essenza di quella terra estrema.
