E' sempre in agguato, controlla il suo territorio, non sopporta gli invasori e li aggredisce senza troppi complimenti. Si tratta di Ettore, il gattone del mio vicino. Tutta la sua aggressività, si scioglie come neve al sole, quando qualcuno che conosce e che gli va in simpatia, gli fa una carezza. Ho questa fortuna: addirittura quando mi vede uscire o rientrare, dalla sua postazione preferita, un grosso albero in fondo al giardino, mi raggiunge al galoppo, mi si struscia contro, e aspetta un po' di coccole e carezze.
