L'immensità di Tokyo vista dallo skydeck al cinquantaduesimo piano della Mori Tower nel quartiere Roppongi Hills. Per due sere consecutive ho tentato invano di fare questa cattura ma a causa dei continui e violenti temporali, purtroppo non sono riuscito a salire sulla torre. La terza sera finalmente dopo una fila interminabile (ben oltre le due ore di attesa) sono riuscito a raggiungere il rooftop all'aperto. Nonostante fossi arrivato alla biglietteria con diverso tempo di anticipo, l'infinita coda agli ascensori mi ha fatto raggiungere il tetto al 53esimo piano dopo il tramonto. Immaginavo che i cavalletti fossero vietati ma non mi aspettavo che anche il gorillapod fosse bandito. Ormai col buio ho provato a scattare ma non ho portato a casa niente di interessante. Al contrario al piano di sotto, nello skydeck chiuso tutto era permesso, ho guadagnato posizioni nel punto più buio, piazzato il cavalletto e fatto questi scatti. Ovviamente la foto è stata fatta dietro vetrate (sorprendentemente immacolate nonostante la pioggia dei giorni precedenti) quindi ho dovuto usare tutti gli accorgimenti del caso per limitare riflessi. A sinistra si può ammirare la Tokyo Tower, una torre per le comunicazioni che richiama le forme della torre Eiffel di Parigi (questa è qualche decina di metri più alta) mentre in lontananza sulla destra si può scorgere il famoso ponte sospeso Rainbow Bridge e la grande ruota panoramica nell'isola artificiale di Odaiba. Doppia Esposizione, scatto per panorama 15 sec. f/9 ISO 100, scatto per scie e luci 8 sec. f/9 ISO 100, fusione tramite luminosity masks.
