Beautiful shot enriched with a very interesting caption.
Lights and shadows are well managed despite the difference in brightness.
For personal taste, in PP I would have given an add-on to the crumbling lines and the levee slope to dx ;-)
A good job anyway 8-)

Hello Rinaldo1005, thank you very much for your comment, but especially for the advice.
You're absolutely right for the drooping lines, because of my modest p.p.
I am more perplexed by the slope: I also see a certain imbalance, but if I refer to the horizontal lines of the central building, they are aligned. I therefore believe that the problem is more related to a prospective error, perhaps accentuated by the incorrect drooping lines. If I refer to similar points of the lateral buildings the slope seems to the left, however those two buildings, although very similar, are not identical, for this reason I preferred to align the shot on the central building and on the fountain.
Thank you again, happy for your appreciation.
Hello :-P

Already it's true Barbara, you're also from Genoa.
You are a large group and all very good
There must be something in the air of your city that fosters photographic talent.
All the more reason I am happy for your appreciation at this shot, a tribute to Genoa.

Thank you Henry, I'm pleased with your appreciation.
The pdr was chosen so as to have in the background the curved palace (like the fountain) and the other two, with the turrets, symmetrical to the sides.
Colors the natural ones.
Happy you liked it
A big thank you.
