Con Frank abbiamo girato tante cliniche e ospedali, Roma, Arezzo, Firenze, Milano, Faenza e Imola, ultima tappa prima del suo ritiro, ogni volta una visita ed una speranza di ritrovare il percorso interrotto. Quel giorno in visita all'autodromo di Imola abbiamo fatto un giro nel parco delle Acque Minerali dove lui non era mai stato, abbiamo visto il monumento a ricordo di Ayrton Senna e quello di Gilles Villeneuve, arrivati alla curva delle Acque Minerali è salito sopra il muretto, lui che nel suo sport, il nuoto, ha seguito solo due cose, le corde delle corsie e la linea nel fondo della vasca della piscina, si è incantato verso la pista e con il gesto dell'indice ha iniziato a segnare la sua traiettoria migliore per poter affrontare la sua nuova vita senza il nuoto, dopo l'ultima visita.
