Hello Sergio, from your shooting point, you have made this scenario even more impressive than what you tell,,excellent shooting, and color effect, I also like the care you had in capturing so much sharpness throughout the scene, with great details,, even the feathers on the cornice are well depicted,,congratulations, excellent shooting and excellent color ,,.

A place that I keep in my mind along with infinite other wonderful ones from my first trip to Sicily.
By far better than so many ruins on Greek soil.
Good photo for me, no shadows for milky sky, but at least uniform light and no black areas ;-)

Hi Charles.
The site is now under the direction of a serious and passionate archaeologist.
It is, as you will have read in the caption, the largest archaeological site in Europe.
You visit with mini vans, given the distances.
The territorial vastness involves costs and continuous monitoring.
Poor regional and national finances in general, do not help this, like other archaeological sites.
LI found however quite well organized with the tendency to want to value everything in it, even if not kept to perfection, rather than spending more on major works, neglecting the minors.
The place, then is a corner of Sicily, close to the sea, almost untouched, where natural views and archaeological finds coexist with great suggestion.
Happy you liked this image.
Thank you so much for comment and compliments

Thank you very much Antonio.
I wanted to put it together in this shot: the architectural beauty, immersed in the exuberant, colorful beauty of nature in spring explosion
The chosen pdr, reached with some difficulty ;-) allowed me to get the result I wanted.
Happy you appreciated it
Thanks also for the compliments.

Thank you Marmor, I am delighted for your appreciation at this shot and, yes! The sky so uniformly veiled allowed a lighting with very soft shadows.
Content has given you pleasant memories.
Thank you very much.
