Ho scelto di fotografare Deadvlei al tramonto, sfruttando le luci e le ombre per qualche scatto diverso. Ho notato che l'ombra avanzava sul bianco terreno molto velocemente e parallelamente alla base di questa duna. Ho atteso gli ultimi istanti e, quando la parte illuminata si è ridotta ad una sottile striscia, ho scattato questa foto. Ho composto centralmente e questo è il risultato.
