at 82mm, 1/1250 f/5.6, ISO 200, hand held. Parigi, France.

Grazie a tutti.

Seeing Notre Dame as it was exciting, we must hope for an effective reconstruction, without bureaucratic delays. Thanks for the beautiful picture and the wonderful caption, Annamaria! Great!
a dear greeting.

This monument has always represented more than just a cathedral.
In my case I keep with special affective value and irreplaceable a photo that I took my wife, at the time fiancee, alongside my beloved and rimplant mother, in the year 2000, in front of the portals of Notre Dame, one of the most beautiful family images of Always, among other things, testimony of energy of the then old woman who kept the step of dancing youngsters.
This image is particularly well framed, I give you my compliments ;-)

What I regret is the regrets of historians who consider it a beautiful monument, forgetting that it was built with a much deeper meaning that has been lost over the centuries. That should displease me more, in my opinion.

Good Annamaria..... I unfortunately in 2008 I could only dust off old dia that certainly do not make it as your digital photo very nice and detailed..... On the fact of the reconstruction then the medieval wood that made up the destroyed roof will surely not be redone.... But from the outside and from the top no one will notice...... Happy Easter to you too
