#Emozioni #Cielo #Deserto ©Afrikachiara 2018. All rights reserved

interesting plants, here located in a spectacular and ghostly place among the open-pit uranium mines.
are also present in the north of Namibia (Himba zone) and in the angle, but smaller in size.
very difficult to grow, because they are subject to attacks of pathogenic elements (mushrooms), although characteristic for the very long fittone root and for the differentiated male and female inflorescences.
for those interested - until a few years ago - there were some specimens present at the university botanical garden of Bologna.

Hello Maurizio, I visited your photos that tell the somewhat magical story of this amazing plant creature!
Thank you very much for the in-depth comment!
I have other photos of it, which are also beautiful and closer; I opted for this because I see it better inserted into the desert context.
A dear greeting, Clare
