Il presepe, una meravigliosa tradizione tutta Italiana. Il nostro Patrono d'Italia, San Francesco nel 1223 realizzò a Greccio la prima rappresentazione della Natività. Gesù bambino, rappresentava come giusto il Natale. Adesso sembra che questo bambino, Gesù nostro Signore, offenda chiunque. Come può un bambino offendere chiunque? Gesù che ci ha portato la luce sconfiggendo le tenebre offende qualcuno? Ci ha insegnato ad amare il prossimo, ma ci ha anche dimostrato che bisogna difendere la nostra religione quando nel Tempio ha cacciato chi usurpava la casa del Padre. Ci ha amato così tanto da donare per noi la propria vita. Adesso si ha paura anche a raffigurarlo nei biglietti di auguri per il Santo Natale. Troviamo raffigurati Babbo Natale, Renne, Palline, Ceri, alberelli addobbati, pupazzi di neve.... Ma Gesù. la Madonna e San Giuseppe che fine hanno fatto? Purtroppo non mancano i casi in cui alcuni sacerdoti invitano a non fare il presepe. Auguro a tutti voi un Buon Natale e che la luce di questo bambino illumini i cuori delle persone in tutto il mondo. Qui in calce una parte dell'omelia di alcuni anni fa Mercoledì, 23 dicembre 2009 di Papa Benedetto XVI: [.....] In quel Bambino, infatti, si manifesta Dio-Amore: Dio viene senza armi, senza la forza, perché non intende conquistare, per così dire, dall'esterno, ma intende piuttosto essere accolto dall'uomo nella libertà [.....] La sua condizione di Bambino ci indica, inoltre, come possiamo incontrare Dio e godere della Sua presenza. E' alla luce del Natale che possiamo comprendere le parole di Gesù: «Se non vi convertirete e non diventerete come i bambini, non entrerete nel regno dei cieli» (Mt 18,3). Chi non ha capito il mistero del Natale, non ha capito l'elemento decisivo dell'esistenza cristiana.
