I've only ever seen otters in the wild once before, so I was thrilled to see these four in my local river this morning! Taken in very low light conditions. Hello AnnH, I do not understand whether they are two images together or a single frame.
Forgive the frankness but I do not convince the composition and quality of the file... I understand that probably the light was not very favorable, but I do not understand the background completely black on the sides... looks like an ultrasound image (professional deformation :-D) ... probably should be looked at as a click document.

@Fabio: Thank you for taking the time to give your honest opinion. This is one single image where I had eye to eye contact with the otter in the foreground whilst there were two in the background apparently fighting. The light was poor and flat (soon after a sunless 'sunrise') and the otters were in amongst ugly, broken vegetation. The original image was both noisy and messy - this processing seemed to me the best way to share what was a most exciting moment!
