Great Rod! Thanks a lot of the kind comment! On the day of the shooting, observing the beauty of this flower I took a bit of melancholy thinking about how much effort can be done to create a similar beauty and then see it "fade" in such a short time... But Mother Nature thinks of everything and in an endless cycle , beauty repeats itself endlessly... hence the juxtaposition with Catullo was brief. Il giorno dello scatto, osservando la bellezza di questo fiore mi è presa un po' di malinconia pensando a quanta fatica si possa fare per creare una bellezza simile per poi vederla "sfiorire" in così poco tempo...però Madre Natura pensa a tutto e in un ciclo senza fine, la bellezza si ripete all'infinito...di qui l'accostamento con Catullo è stato breve. Un amore così intenso e puro da oltrepassare i millenni!
