Forse, andando bene a scavare, è proprio quello che ricerco nel mio percorso fotografico: non tanto una rappresentazione "fedele", quanto piuttosto "convincente". L'osservatore può, se vuole, costruire la propria verità riguardo all'immagine, ma essa deve dimostrarsi sempre una rappresentazione convincente, credibile nel contesto in cui vada a finire.
E ancora una volta, hai dato parole e struttura a un qualcosa che vagava nella mia mente! 
Aggiungo qualche nota sull'immagine qui sopra.
Lo scatto è del 2012, viaggio di Nozze in Australia. Che viaggio, che atmosfera, che mood, che luoghi!
Il tempo a disposizione non era molto, per di più inizialmente la spiaggia era molto affollata.
Non avevo una supermegapixellata (anzi... già grazie che potevo contare sul prestito della D40x di Papà..!), né potevo contare su grande esperienza in tema di lunghe esposizioni: oggi ne ho poca - e traballante - figuriamoci allora! 
Però, quella scena era incredibile: le onde si infrangevano sulla spiaggia e sulla scogliera creando un vero e proprio muro di goccioline finissime, la luce calava e la marea iniziava a salire.
Nonostante un'iniziale apparenza, quel pezzo di costa letteralmente "a spasso" nell'oceano (qui l'erosione è molto forte, in pochi anni il paesaggio riesce a cambiare radicalmente... vedi "The London Bridge") mi trasmetteva un senso di quiete, quasi di leggerezza.
Per spiegare meglio, è una di quelle immagini che vorrei degnamente stampate e appese in casa, da guardare nei momenti importanti per tirare un sospiro di sollievo.
Allora l'ho pazientemente ri-sviluppata nelle ultime settimane, ammorbidendola e rendendola eterea nei passaggi tonali, senza andare a cercare una iper-definizione che non esisteva in quel momento: con tutte quelle goccioline, hai voglia la maschera di contrasto...
Il flusso di lavoro è molto semplice (tendenzialmente uso sempre solo LR e poi PS quando voglio una maschera di contrasto), così come l'impianto compositivo, e, alla fine, l'intento del mio lavoro.
Quindi, in conclusione, sono molto felice che tu ne abbia colto l'essenza.
