La maggior parte dei miei still life non sono post prodotti (nemmeno questo), cerco di ottenere l'effetto voluto con l'utilizzo delle luci e dei pannelli. In questo caso (come in molti altri) per il fondo ho utilizzato un telo di stoffa blu scuro che ho ombreggiato con un pannello, escludendolo dal fascio di luce che illumina il soggetto.
