Il borgo di Serralunga d'Alba (Seralonga d'Alba in piemontese) si trova nella Langhe, in Piemonte. Il suo castello è oggi considerato uno degli esempi meglio conservati di castello nobiliare trecentesco del Piemonte. Collocato a sommità della collina di Serralunga, a dominio del caratteristico borgo e delle sue famose vigne, in uno dei comprensori turistici più interessanti e di maggior sviluppo della regione, il castello è simbolo indelebile di questo paesaggio. All'epoca in cui i discendenti di Bonifacio del Vasto, Bonifacio Minore e Ottone del Carretto, nel XII secolo, erano i signori del territorio, una torre sovrastava e difendeva il borgo di Serralunga
