No, non ho fatto nessun miracolo... ho solo avuto fortuna. #Ghiaccio #Ice #Cascate #Waterfalls #FiltroPolarizzatore #Inverno #Winter

@Raffaele: Thanks, it's the first one that hints at the quality of the light! I have highlighted the part left more shadowy as the cold while the right part that receives the reflected light from above the waterfall I gave a slightly warmer tone.
Thank you for your appreciation!

This picture beautiful for the feeling it gives me to feel immersed in all that ice, thanks Ilmore52 for conveying to me this gut feeling, a greeting.

The search for places is vital for a landscape architect who wants to offer something not seen or at least little seen.

You were good then, to reach the place before every other consideration of technical or aesthetic.

I read the settings and shooting modes that you used.

A faster time, even using the tripod could reduce blur caused by the flow of water below the surface on thinner ice at the edges.

Despite this I feel I can say that it is a beautiful creation as a whole, especially for the full expression of that color is in these situations.

@Patrizio:
The search for places is vital for a landscape architect who wants to offer something not seen or at least just seen
... I fully agree!
For a time fast enough to capture that movement the only solution is that suggested by Catherine. But keep in mind that I could not wait to put my feet on dry land! :-D :-D :-D
Thanks for the appreciation notwithstanding the above. ;-)
A greeting.

Congratulations Hilary, really a beautiful shot ... the search of the location to that of the PDR!
I must say that I have noticed that he had lost several minutes to fix it: 3/4 of the picture from the top are stunning, the stalactites, the rock and the waterfall ... all wonderful! However I can not please me the ice moved it ahead of the rest of the image is nothing ...

Thanks Pino! :-)

@Giorgio:
I realized that he had lost several minutes to fix it: 3/4 of the picture from the top are wonderful
... then I'll have to post one taken at 44 mm. which focuses only on the vision of the waterfall! ;-)
I can not please me the ice moved it ahead of the rest of the image is nothing ...
... it's nothing, just what I thought, too (think someone on tuft of grass moved into the foreground there on purpose square).
Thank you for your compliments.

I find it very beautiful, disturbs me the high-cut, but I guess it was not possible to frame the sky, I also see the rocks to the right a little sharper hair looking good, however, it remains a great shot.

@Juza: Thanks for the positive comments! Hello :-)

@Andrea:
disturbs me the cut at the top
...ovviamente I even wider shots even at 14 mm .: above there are bare trees and ... a lot of overexposure. :-D
To the right is true is a little soft (as already done by Caterina council).
Thanks for comments and also for appreciation.

@Adriano: Thank you for your compliments!
made with your usual accuracy
... I thought that someone found the too narrow framing (obviously not a crop), but I chose this (I wanted the 3: 2) because those in wider angle they then need to be cut both above for disorders and overexposure that even under the ice too.
