Curiosi e molto confidenti, questa comportamento non va bene nel mondo dell' homo sapiens. Estinti sulle Alpi nei primi del 900, ora dopo la prima reintroduzione siamo arrivati a circa 270 esemplari e a 42 coppie territoriali, i risultati del progetto di reimissione in ambiente alpino sono ottimi, ma i problemi sono ancora molti, in primis, il saturnismo ( avvelenamento da piombo), problema poco conosciuto dai più, ma di grande impatto nei rapaci, loro mangiano i visceri degli ungulati abbattuti dai cacciatori in alta montagna e visto che le munizioni sono di piombo i residui che rimangono nei resti di questi animali sono letali (bastano pochi frammenti per causare la morte di aquile o gipeti), per questo si tenta di portare i cacciatori ad usare proiettili di rame, coinvolgendo anche i produttori di armi. (Basterebbe vietare i proiettili di piombo) ma si sà la politica....... Vedremo.
