Quest'anno ci andrò per la terza volta consecutiva. Arriverò a Piazza San Marco verso le 6, le 7 di sera. Guarderò le formiche ritirarsi, piano piano e Venezia, con la sua pigrizia, svegliarsi. Poi, verso le 3 del mattino, quando nulla più si muove, inizia il concerto della bellezza smisurata, fino all'alba, quando le prime formiche mattiniere ricominciano a pizzicarla. Ecco, Venezia a quest'ora si addormenta ed io lo farò ancora con lei.
