at 16mm, Posa B f/4.0, ISO 800, tripod.

Congratulations on this photo, I love the night photos and this is beautiful! Unfortunately I only have a 450D and I would like to take a fullframe like yours but one thing I do not understand if you have to chase the stars with an astrotracker how do you keep the mountain in the same spot? How do you merge the 2 images?
Thanks hello
Gianluca

You make two images from the same point of view then with Photoshop they come together to use the part of the sky chased above the choppy sky of the photo to the landscape. To start you can also not have a chase, but you will have to limit the laying time to avoid the move on the stars, I recommend about 20 seconds with a 16mm on FF, high iso and dark places especially!
