La tecnica per farla è tutto sommato semplice. Serve un fondale nero, uno o due flash posti lateralmente, luce continua per "la scia" che preferibilmente non la illuminino frontalmente. Macchina su cavalletto e tempo di esposizione da 1 a 4 secondi. Il flash scatta alla fine (seconda tendina).
