Beautiful place and beautiful photo. Of course I would have liked to see it f: 16 and ISO 100 ... but I'm happy.
Perfect framing as well as the timing to capture the light grazing.
Compliments.

a puff of breath a moment still ...........

Suffered from the infamous Pooh that I could not continue like this, imagining a nice cool breeze that cuts the skin.
Personally the foreground out of focus does not bother me, it creates a certain depth to the whole.
Shooting without a tripod is also a great pleasure!

Also for me the very first floor so low out of focus quite disturbing;-)
I would have opted for different MAF selective to get everything AF.
There is also a slight distortion;-)
Bella x else:-P

Greetings to Max soon

Quiet, good namesake Max is an honest and sincere person when he writes, I learned to know him.
Even though I have it and tastes are tastes unfortunately.

intact, as I wrote above, if I had a tripod with me I would definitely the "usual" focus stack (with two focused), I've got a free hand even tried: - |

Fire, fire, for me, the photo is beautiful. The moment was to be seized and you've read. It's a kind of "uncertainty principle" .... or seize the moment or looking for technical perfection .... For me it is more important than the former. Then, by the way, I would not have even noticed the blurred and that says a lot about my skills .....
Compliments
Luca

I do not believe that a lover of the macro does not notice these details;-)
thanks for your appreciation and especially for your kindness:-D

we return to the light of all this well-deserved success that took the photo to:

1) I hope not to read more whining in on a hard light the absence of clouds and company, given that the photos you do, you do not need to hide behind anything;-)
2) I appreciate the humility with which you proposed this shot with a technical error by the realization that for a perfectionist like you would not have been easy to climb: Due to the shooting data for a F11 me I was almost free because the 14mm and how you said you could safely go down to 1/30

look forward to the next shots

as well as sharpness, I'm sick of dynamic range, with a single click I need the file as clean as possible
I also then we return:-D, for my ignorance I do not understand this, I do not think that this light was extremely "difficult", I understand that increasing the iso (the limit) causes a little more noise and less chance of recovery, but we do not speak of sunsets with the shadows ... There I went back to criticize shooting Indeed, but to try to figure out (plus I do not know the machine).

Beautiful scenery .... the out of focus at first a little 'disturbing .... maybe you might have to crop a bit' in pp and then cut the first piece blurred.

Luchix
thank you very much:-P

@ Rino, as well as in brine made me felling like to fish, to -10 for about an hour and then I was ready to be eaten:-D thanks for the compliments

Gianmarco and Massimo
I am getting a little tired to answer yet about shutter speed and aperture:-D:-D:-D
I will want to put in your head that is the photo I just cannata? :-D:-D:-D
I've said Massimo,
at 800iso I started sweating and I desistitoMrGreenMrGreenMrGreen
what do you want me to tell you I know I'm an extremist:-D
however, even if it is a backlight pushed between the salt and light of the shadow of the mountain there were at least 3 stop, I know that I would have been able to recover in the post, but whenyou are in a place that you do not know and do not know the lights above and yields a height of 4000mt for safety I'm going to row of exposures and did not say a bullshit .ci have been occasions when I took safely with the same care I would have if I had photographed on my mountains, then go for the sake to review the photo and you realize you under or overexposure that you would never aspettato.Un example of all the photos I took at an altitude of 4600mt to "El Tatio "area of ??geysers with backlighting from fear that despite the row of exposures I still have 7 shots in the sun or its reflection in the midst of the vapors totally bruciati..anche the flare that burns we are nonetheless clear, there are holes and beautiful well it seems that the pixels are disintegrati.sulla history then the dynamic range I know that even 800 would have had a good file, but it is the word "good that I will not settle, in landscape with many detcuts as well in this case I want the most out of my reflex.per me the crests of the salt are not as defined as I would have liked .. (I'm waiting for the D750 12mp D700 begin to andarmi a little tight, even though I consider it absolutely a super machine) .Spero have satisfied your curiosity:-D
however, the next picture will be perfect (technically I mean);-)
