Roars & Dolomites [Video] sent on October 17, 2016 (0:11) by Marco Omodei. 70 comments, 2946 views.

Thanks Ardian, also for the interesting considerations. Some of the deer pictures bellow you see them with a little faded colors because:
1 I was in very inaccessible areas and I had to compromise for reasons of weight and use the small camera Canon hv 40 with 1 cmos ranging in difficulty to full zoom.
2 presence of slight haze typical of this period
3 mandatory auto focus with instant AF, data subjects in great movement, but also this option removes sharpness compared to manual focus.
I think I still was lucky given the beauty of the situations that I have experienced.
Hello.
Marco.

Hello Mark, I was pleased that you were able to film the deer during the rut. You have made a good movie despite the unfavorable situation. It is not easy to photograph the deer in the wild, they have a great sense of smell and are ready to run away as soon as you make a shot. Surely you've tried some good feelings that you repay the difficulties that entails.

Thanks Ignatius, actually I spent days lurking not filming anything but I always enjoyed the charm and beauty of these wild places where the dominant one is just the deer. Then miraculously sometimes you're left admiring and even filming ....

Thanks Luca, your comments always make me very happy and I'm glad you enjoyed it. These "beasts" occasionally giving us know of intense emotions and make us feel part of the wonderful and wild natural world that, in some places now rare, still surrounds us.
Best wishes.

an extraordinary movie with excellent installation: -o: -o
Bugling hear is a unique emotion ... ours are smaller, the champion males reach a weight of around 120-130 kg, but have a bellowing darker.
sincere congratulations
