Hello there,

I'm on my way to buy a new tripod and I would like to hear your suggestions and experiences. So, I don't think I have to make a presentation for Gitzo's tripods, as everybody here probably knows about them, but my direction was for one in the range of the Systematic. For the FLM, I don't know, they seem to be very good to me and from their specs and generally the relation price/quality seems to be better than with Gizto. Has anybody experience with any of them?

And, for the FLM tripods maybe you can have a look over here: www.flm-gmbh.de/de/produkte/stative/sondergrossen-der-serie-30/cp30-xl and www.limephoto.co.za/Reviews/FLM_CP30L3S_Tripod_Review.html

So?

Thanks in advance :)

Hey,

Have you considered Induros tripods ? They're considered to be on par with Gitzo (so I've heard at least, haven't own a Gitzo tripod myself). www.indurogear.com . I have the 304L traditional tripod and I'm very pleased with the sturdiness and overall quality.

Hey,

No, I haven't, but they sound good enough. However, the FLM seem to be a bit ligher, while being also a bit more expensive, although. And from what I read around and especially on dpreview, the FLMs seem to have a even better built quality, even when compared with tripods from RRS (not always better, but, at least, on par). Any personal experience over FLM, anybody?
