Pros: Tropicalized, sensor, ISO 64.

Cons: AF tracking Shameful, ISO 1600 Noise Salt

Opinion: Bought new Nital in 2016 used for more than 5 years sold for a used D850. The D810 has been designed for slow photography and to get the best on both landscape and portraiture must be set from the menu with criterion as the shake is lurking. The dynamic range of the Nikon D810 is fantastic. Personally it gave me enormous satisfaction used mainly with the perfect 15mm Distagon combo. In post production great recoveries of shadows and colors. Also used with the second generation 70-200 F2.8 in a Motocross event I took home 4 or 5 photos with good results (I was frustrated by AF tracking), but you can't have everything from Nikon mom.

Pros: Robust and tropicalized, professional controls and ergonomics, excellent raw files, used price 2022, battery life.

Cons: attack for uncomfortable remote shooting, not great burst, fixed live view screen, weight but you get used to it.

Opinion: Purchased used with 20k shots, around 1000Euro with vertical grip and spare battery, coming from Aps-c Nikon D5600 and also having a compact Mirrorless Fuji X100V, I find this D810 an excellent Reflex both for photographic results, both for the ease to set the shooting settings etc. quickly and effectively, always keeping in mind that for excellent results it is a must to mount good lenses. That said, when you have reached the awareness of the limits of the D810 and shoot with the best conditions, the resulting files have very little to envy to those of any new generation mirrorless. To test it I took a set of sigma lenses, including the 105 macro, the 24 105 and the 150-600c, which for now have not disappointed me. Recommended for quality price and use of new and old F mount lenses.

Pros: Image quality, usual high-end Nikon controls trim and ergonomics, autofocus

Cons: no one in particular for my needs

Opinion: I took it for landscape, having already had the d800 - then resold - and having other bodies with much less mpx. I found substantial continuity with the d800, with some improvements. Maybe compared to the d800 the improvements concern the exposure and the image processor, which makes jpegs in the room for me a little better. I use it mainly for landscaping but also as a second body for my son's cycling races, coupled with the 2.8 AFS lenses. Despite having an improved AF module , honestly with any lens the d3 is much more accurate, especially with long lenses; the d810 I use for panning with the 24-70 and the 14-24 (where I can, to avoid doing damage to cyclists). Excellent machine for those who already know the 800 series, for me the d800 was perhaps a little better in the recovery of shadows. Overall highly recommended, given the prices of the used and the quality of the files that will be current for a long time.

Pros: Dynamic rendering Color rendering Light meter Definition Ergonomics and balance Reliability RAW workability

Cons: Slow autofocus, even in Crop DX in photos of moving subjects. Lack wireless and GPS. Remote control attachment position.

Opinion: The first shot I took was at night with the Christmas lights, it left me stunned. We talk about Nikon, so light meter, definition and colors we are at the top. Holding to high ISO is not a problem with today's photo editing programs. Very reliable, only once the shutter jammed for the cold, but it was enough to select Mup and everything was back in its place. Very good battery life, I do a full day of outdoor shots. With the original Battery Grip, the machine is always balanced even with heavy optics and flash, also increases the speed of the burst. I would have preferred a few more programmable buttons and a larger display on the back. The position of the remote control attachment makes it difficult to screw the ring.

Pros: 36 megapixel sensor, colors, general ergonomics, high iso

Cons: microvy, heavy files, autofocus

Opinion: Removed after 4 years of use for system change, I can say that it was a really nice car. The first time I shot with the D810 (coming from d700, another great car) I realized that it churned out rows with almost non-existent colors, it could capture nuances that the eye did not perceive and therefore I was surprised. Good ergonomics (she is not too heavy either), keys in the right place and obviously customizable as always; image quality we don't even talk about it, for me excellent. The sore point, perhaps for my model, was the difficulty in hooking the subject by the autofocus, sometimes frustrating and really annoying, apparently even when the lighting and contrast were not bad. Another flaw was the micromosso, almost always present with not too long times, but on a 36 megapixel I think it is normal (or maybe it is me who expects a lot ?), on the other hand this is a machine that prefers a certain type of controlled, meditated photography, maybe placed on the tripod, and there it really shows the best of itself. Photographing a lot "on the street" I realized that it was too bulky to be able to carry it almost daily with me, so I decided to remove it not because disappointed by the performance but for different portability needs that could not satisfy. However, I would recommend it, especially now where on the used you can find them in excellent condition at affordable prices.

Pros: File quality, solid construction, key layout, perfect size, slots with two cards of different sizes

Cons: None, perhaps the lack of the adjustable display in some situations

Opinion: I come from a D750, a machine that on paper was supposed to be fabulous but that instead I found myself badly (3 calls, no less than 10 shots to get out a decent one) I finally broke down and after reading the comments I took (in note northern chain) this jewel that at the time, had only 1,600 shots to the credit and was practically new. I was amazed at the beauty of the photos I can pull out (I speak as a semi-evolved photoadamator). This machine makes you enjoy the pleasure of taking photos. Reading the comments I confirm that a more defined live view would help a lot in the verification of the focus (especially with manual optics) since enlarging an image does not have the perception of having set in focus perfectly. In essence: great machine.

Pros: File Quality - Dynamic Range - Build Quality - Autonomy - Ergonomics - Control And Ghiere Preparation - Double Slot

Cons: I would have liked more definition on Live View

Opinion: Owned for almost 2 years, I came to Canon (5DsR) what to say? The Best Reflex ever owned, has distorted the way of photographing, infinite dynamic range, recovery margins also, combined with high-level optics the quality of the image and colors is exceptional, holding the body you immediately perceive the true touch of professionalism and robustness, preparation of controls and rings comfortable and intuitive, excellent viewfinder and well readable information , the autonomy with the original batteries seems never to end, I would have liked only a more defined live view, otherwise I would buy it back today, even the very reliable tropicalization, I made days in the rain without blinking, Sold only for switch to Sony, I had to lighten my backpack for high-altitude outings ...

Pros: To date, the 2020s and previous and subsequent years is the best buy par excellence, found used with a few shots under 1300 euros is unmatched

Cons: The lack of 4k videos, for those who make videos

Opinion: I've had them allD610 - D800E - D800 and D850.. This quality at is the best without a shadow of a doubt. Just open the raw and you understand what shots we are talking about. Excellent quality. The D850 is its evolution with additional features, which for heaven's sake, are very important and sacrosanct, but that do not serve 90% of enthusiasts like me. So my advice is, buy the D810 and live happily.

Pros: The quality of the file of absolute and unsurpassed value. Very handy and light, on display is perfection, it never goes wrong. Great yield even in high ISOs.

Cons: Hard to find flaws.

Opinion: A truly exceptional camera that confirms that there are no comparisons between the full frame and the smaller format. I've been using the D700s for years which are maybe even more robust, but the 810, as it shoots, already feels the difference. The use of the double card is also very valid and always comes in handy. Even the battery, although small, is already very tested and reliable.

Pros: Image quality

Cons: White Balance!

Opinion: I do not repeat what others wrote about quality, obviously a beautiful car and in the studio then becomes sublime. But when used in the evening, or in conditions in which white balance is relied upon are pains. It shades on yellow and the complexions become very bad. In the evening in the wedding puts me in a lot of trouble.

Pros: Ergonomics classical controls Layout Nikon Pro. Excellent image quality.

Cons: I would say nothing.

Opinion: Perhaps even today after the release of the d850 (which I have) is the camera better balanced as performance and image quality. Were corrected the few flaws that nagging the d800 mainly the autofocus, noise and vibration of the mirror mechanism. Someone complained about the slowness from autofocus that instead seems to me more than enough for the lens to which it is intended if you want performance speed there is more in the house Nikon. Dynamic range and very good ISO hold to be a 36 megapixel. The body is well made and sufficiently robust, available classic Nikon Pro controls. I also used the d850 for a few months (now passed to my son) wonderful machine but for me too heavy files and new technologies that has not interest me. Now I took another new one taking advantage of the price almost halved than the first I took. I almost always go out with two bodies and having two identical do not risk making mistakes. As long as it is still new now as it now has no rivals as price performance.

Pros: Ergonomics, high image quality even at high ISO, reliable AF, battery autonomy.

Cons: Lack Focus pecking in Live View.

Opinion: Multi-purpose camera that borders on perfection, with very high image quality at low and high ISO, reliable AF, high battery autonomy, ergonomics and professional camera controls. If it had had 24-28 MPX instead of 36 mpx it would have been better, but even 36 are fine for general use. I also have Zeiss optics on manual focus, and if there had been the focus peacking in Live View it would focus better, but even so it looks great in manual. I mold in A3 and A2 format and until now I have not found any technical limit worthy of this name, you make excellent prints in A2 even with a little ' crop. I am very satisfied and after the first, tested in depth, I bought a second, today I have two.

Pros: Bought new to have no surprises. Used with the utmost care and all possible attentions and imaginable.... and then.... abandoned in the middle of an important party, at least for me, and forced to take pictures with the phone.... anger and disappointment.... to the Stars!!!!!!!!!!! I will never understand how can a Nikon D810 have a broken shutter with less than 10,000 shots... maybe because it's "second choice"??? And then programmed to break???????????

Cons: Shutter broken after 9300 shots during the grandson's first birthday..... and under Christmas Holidays.... all the programs made.... in smoke!!! Money spent on what? Given the results.... money thrown away!!! And to think that I started in 1980 with the Nikon FE... HUGE MACHINE!!!!!

Opinion: As back from the assistance.... I sell all the equipment... BODY d810... Nikon: 24-70 f 2.8, 70-200 f 2.8, 85mm f 1.8 D, 50mm f1.4 G, SB700 Flash, more yongnuo RF-603nii Transmitters (4 pieces) and, I'd better!!! , buy a phone that in addition to phone snaps good photos.....!!!! Meager, me Tapino...!!! The question arises spontaneously: only me? Or has someone happened the same thing??

Pros: I dare say everything, if you buy it, aware of its characteristics, does not betray expectations

Cons: Slow but you know it from before, heavy but you know it from before, so nothing.

Opinion: Maybe the car I loved the most. I do not know if because linked to a moment of my weakness, and also bought for a sense of revenge, but surely I loved her from the first moment and sell it was really a tragedy, photographically speaking. Unfortunately it requires lenses, both from the point of view of optical performance and speed: I have always liked to assimilate it to a mammoth, slow and reflective, but it does everything with an extreme quality. AF not as fast as the d750 but more accurate, has less sensitivity to the dark (-3 stops of the d750, versus I-2 stop the d810), overall the AF has never let me down, indeed! Distribution of the points of MAF I dare say perfect to get us all! Powerful body, full viewfinder, massive, in short, is felt in tow, but it is the price to pay to have an excellent reflex. Fairytale files, for geeks like me is pure lust recover files with lights exposed well but closed shadows, and be able to get them almost as if the file was and move correctly. And the 36mpx feel, even at the PC, so if you are going to work pretty heavily files but you do not have a PC Prestante, think well! With the advent of d850, this seems almost his old mom, to evaluate well in the optics used considering the current quotation (for 2/300 €, if you do not need the speed of d750, to be preferred with eyes closed!)

Pros: Pro body, AF, dynamic range, well arranged keys, absence AA filter, sensor, 64 native ISO, battery life

Cons: None of relevant maybe ISO kept not at the highest level

Opinion: New outlet in strong discount in August 2018, cause exit of the D850, for which I was attracted but they wanted 1000 euros more, the use mainly for landscaping and travel reportage. Born for landscape but so good that is good for anything, less where they serve the high ISO as as sports in palaces and theaters. Body and keys arrangement are excellent, in the hands you have a pro body of excellent construction and solidity. I use it only with fixed optics and weight and size are not exaggerated, max 1.3 kg full of optics, probably with the zoom 2.8 a whole day at the neck starts to be heavy. AF fast and reactive for my genres (not yet tested for sports) and points well distributed in the viewfinder, not all central as the sensor d610 from 36 mpx exceptional, very workable in PP, the native ISO to 64 are great, now that I'm accustomed I could never return Back to 100. From the best of SE with tripods where the image quality is superb with regard to the ISO tightness I hardly exceed the 3200, and the rows with little PP are very usable. Purchase absolutely recommended

Pros: Price after Exit D850

Cons: Only lack WiFi connection, if you need....

Opinion: Taken from 10 days in my store trust at the price of Euro 1 ' 650 with Nikon warranty 3 years, replacing the excellent d800. Immediately tested and clear result, precise autofocus, impressive dynamic range, micro-blur compared to D800 does not exist. They asked me why did you get the new D810 which is now on the market D850.... clear to me, more than a thousand euros at least saved and files less heavy (however we already talk about files in Row x the D810 of 44 MB...), and image quality + dynamic range exceptional. Because I did not take the new Z7 and Z6:1) Because the prices are exorbitant 2) because at the moment the park targets is limited 3) because I wait for the evils of youth then I evaluate 4) because now you do business with D810 5) because I'm fond of DSLRs. Rating + note for the magnificent Nikon D810: excellent promoted, even when it was not in promotion. TOP NIKON

Pros: Resolution and resistance to high ISO, dynamic range, ergonomics and balance of the machine with battery grip with long and heavy optics

Cons: As with other Nikon, I find it unreasonable to have a battery in the camera body and one in the battery grip, with the need to disassemble the BG to change the battery in the camera body: even having Canon bodies of the same level, this choice of Nikon seems to me fruit of myopia

Opinion: Conquered by the D800 and accustomed to using Canon cameras, I immediately appreciated the changes introduced by Nikon in his D810, to the point of buying a second hand at the first occasion that happened to me from the usual shop of trust. Actually since I got the D810, the D800 rests in a bag. I use the D810 with long lenses but also with macro lenses, both at home Nikon and other brands, with full satisfaction.rnApprezzo in particular, compared to the D800, the possibility that I already had in Canon 5DIII or 5DS R, to manage the AF points in areas.rnThe D810 behaves very well in my way of photographing, that is, freehand and in search of detail, not to mention the real detail.rnOra I want to see the D850 to test the facts to evaluate if, to the extra pixels part, it is really worth making the transition - considering that I do not do sports photography and that other features, such as the possibility of repeated shots for the focus stacking, are perhaps more attractive on paper than in realitytti.rnIn essence, I am in love with the D810, a machine able to give emotions if combined with the right optics and used with the right technical precautions for machines so high resolution.rnFor those interested in concrete examples of the yield of the D810, I attach the link to the page where I show a few hundred shots made with this machine and various optics of high quality, even vintage: rnrn https://www.flickr.com/photos/henry62/albums/72157672402107572rn

Pros: Sensor, construction, no AA filter, silent

Cons: High ISO hold, requires high quality lenses

Opinion: A car with an exceptional sensor, professional body, ergonomic even if not at the flagship level. Naturalistic use and its generous sensor gives fabulous and workable PP files. It needs bright and high quality optical (500 f4, 14-24 f2.8) to work the most. The pictures on Juza speak alone ... born for landscapes and portraits has become almost a handyman. The only weaknesses are the action and the high ISO, which is why it is complementary to the flagship. One of the best Nikon ever.

Pros: Body, with a great dynamic range, crop capability, no anti-alising filter, battery life

Cons: Slow, high ISO hold, heavy files, weight.

Opinion: I find it great for what I do, that is, mainly landscaping. In other areas, I find the AF a bit slow and inaccurate. By raising the ISO you hear a lot of noise in the file. When used with quality lenses, it gives the best of itself. I am currently very pleased with the Tamron 15-30 combination for landscapes. The body is great, and it's a pleasure to use. One sinner, the weight, coming from the D750, I perceive, especially the shoulder bag.

Pros: Silent, ergonomic, with a great dynamic range, huge crop capability, no anti-filtering filter, battery life

Cons: Slow, heavy files, slow AF, few fps, no XQD, needs quality goals, high ISO hold

Opinion: I suggest that use in the less suitable field for her .. (avifauna), so my review leaves the time it finds. I like the silence of the shot, really discreet when it comes silently it's great not to look into it , The battery life is more than enough to make a thousand shots, the dynamic range is excellent and allows exceptional recovery on shadows / lights, but if you do not have quality goals, virtually all of its best quality is defeated, AF slow but precise miserable bursts that sometimes made me lose several scene clou, it would be better to put an XQD card instead of sd, but you can not have everything, good the wear of the used, for now hard to find better. .

Pros: Dynamic range, shutter speed comparison of the D800, detail and color of the files

Cons: Slow, obviously huge files, an XQD slot would be a must, a few FPSs

Opinion: I have this machine since 2014 for me a record I usually change cars! It's a formidable machine, a landscapist or a portraitist should have it. Awakening outstanding file recovery in shadows and high outstanding lights. You have to use it with glass of a certain size otherwise it suffers. Great crop possibilities even in DX format we still have 16megapixels perfectly usable. It can also be used in naturalistic, the files will be great, in contrast it is very slow and the shots per second are not too many. The next D8XX hope I have more FPS, XQD slot and AF of the D5, 4K. Already with these improvements might be upgrading. But surely I will think well if you leave me alone!

Pros: Top range, pictures full of detail, perfect colors, ergonomics, robustness

Cons: As far as any defects are concerned, it is closely related to the characteristics of the sensor. For the years he has and the technologies he used, he could not do better.

Opinion: I own both the D750 and the D810. Where does not the first use arrive the second ... and vice versa.rnI will not repeat the usual speeches on the big iso or the burst because there are limits that I feel natural for a 36 mpx sensor and files that can exceed 70 MB! I just want to concentrate on the impression I have had, beyond all the reviews read on the web and in the specialized press: The D810 is another world, even comparing files with those of the great D750.rnIn pp you get shades that l 'Human eye can not capture, and the images are deep, real ... lives! It is a machine that is to be used with quality glasses, and with all the calmness and tranquility of those who do not make sport photos or the paparazzi, of course. But if placed in the right conditions, it can make a difference and does not fear rivals. RnIt is a good idea to recommend it to everyone, even if new models will soon be released. Finally, after the D700, I found the Nikon to love at 360 °. I should add that I do not have information on the video segmentThose to share because they only use for photos. RnBuy light at all! Rnrn

Pros: Fantastic, solid, performing and durable machine.

Cons: Not having it, weight.

Opinion: Exquisite machine, 37 mp, will also compete with the new generation of reflexes for many years. I also recommend it as an investment, a really PRO engine made to last. Fairy-tale images, very sharp and in my opinion comfortably usable up to 6400 iso. It allows an impressive recovery of the shadows and in the hand shoes very well even though the weight is especially felt with light optics, as opposed to heavy zoom it is balanced. RnI recommend it to everyone, a car that I think is brilliant that requires quality optics and Tools for the appropriate pp.

Pros: Sharpness, total control through buttons, 36 Megapixel no anti-aliasing filter

Cons: Unremarkable

Opinion: Amazing car from every point of view, does not lack anything except perhaps tilting the display even if I do not feel particularly the mancanza.rnE 'a machine which needs quality optics to achieve its full potential, coupled with' 'raw lenses'' is unbeatable at ISO 64 and in the presence of a good luce.rnImpensabile purchase a camera body of this level if you do not have appropriate lenses in my opinion. rnProvata with various set of '' Sigma Art '' is basically a blade even at full aperture; to do landscaping recommend the Nikkor 14 24 f / 2.8 or better yet the Zeiss Distagon 21 f / 2.8.rnBuona also for photographic hunting even though I have not experience with this kind of photography.

Pros: Image quality, sharpness, dynamic range, ergonomics, shadow recovery.

Cons: High ISO hold

Opinion: I come from a Nikon D800, this is another thing, I can say an improved d800 without any defect of the d800. Improved Autofocus and shutter that emits zero vibrations to the machine. Superb image quality to say the least, with the right optics gifts crisp shots with an impressive recovery of the shaded areas. Only sore point and disappointment, is the high ISO hold according to my bad point of view. For use with pro optics.

Pros: Nitidizza and colors, building material

Cons: nothing

Opinion: I come from different Nikon, I was planning to take the d810, but I was not convinced, then a friend of mine is selling his D4S x the d810, then I decided, I took it and I must say it's one of the best machines on the market, I did not regret buying, a little flaw is the effort to focus in low light ... good picture at all ..

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: I come from a d750 fantastic car, I wanted to try this to see if it really ce'la difference, you immediately notice the difference from the handle bigger viewfinder, by photos and 36mp. Pros: Sharp images, material quality, wide ISO range, unbeatable color range.

Cons: High difficulty focusing in dark / night-time areas, and it does not support CFAST SD XQD, noticeable vignetting effect battery life.

Opinion: My review starts from an usage that goes from the beginning of February 2016. The first difficulties encountered in the first approach were only the multiple functions in which I came across, but then I can only compliment the product NIKON. Considerable clutter of a single shooting NEF of memory. (If you do not have a PC at work to process images very slow) Being able to decide how to handle the storage of movies and photos on SD or CF allows' organization facilitated post production. At high ISO expecting a major leap quality than the models had in the past, but thanks to the "iso higher" aids will return an image no disturbance even up to 6400, or to ISO 1600 "without aid / corrections" are acceptable . Once you get the hang of the controls it is very fast in the shots and gives a good feeling. The original goals are expensive but a necessary compromise to work at the top.

Pros: And 'the D800 improved and without any defect of the D800.

Cons: It needs high quality optics.

Opinion: A big machine where all the defects of the previous model that allows you to adapt to different kinds of photography always with great satisfaction were eliminated. Excellent with fixed lenses and with quality zoom. I use it mainly for reportage and street with great satisfaction then allowing post production also crop images without loss of quality. As already reported the only drawback is that it needs optical quality which is known to physically and weigh in your wallet.

Pros: dynamic range, impressive detail, customization of keys and functions

Cons: For now only the lack of U1 and U2 that, although the prerogative of bodies with commands not pro, they are extremely comfortable ...

Opinion: I 'using this fantastic reflex from a few days before I had a D7100. Pro body, keys in the right place and customizations crazy, even the settings menu (autofocus, etc etc) controls can be customized in 4 different ways and can be saved as A, B, C, D convenient thing to divide the various photographic genres. fantastic and darkened viewfinder thanks to the curtain, inside, no more hateful cap to be put instead of the eyepiece! :) Good rnImpugnatura that transmits a remarkable feeling of solidity, of course, the weight is felt, but those who buy cars like these is usually the last thing on pensa.rnTenuta ISO in my opinion very good, used to the D7100 which amok detail .. .it is true, the grain can be seen but it is very manageable to at least ISO 6400 maintains exceptional detail, color noise invasive but can be removed with a click. Do not forget that the sensor has very 36MP and inevitably will be a little 'less than FF less dense. rnAnche the problem Icromosso I have not found particularly in any case much more problematic on the D7100 thanks to the density and size minori.rnUltima thing for now, the click is quiet and it has particularly colpito.rnL'unica negative note I, which cmq I was thoroughly prepared, is the lack of customization U1 and U2, very useful when changing genre (for example, from landscape to bird life where you change several settings), you could think of putting a couple of frets more ... rnAggiornerò this review in time when I knew better the car.

Pros: Dynamic Range - Excellent ergonomics - Many features - Image definition even in small details

Cons: Autofocus mischies with little light - Easy Micromosso - Weight

Opinion: I confirm all points in favour already listed. Electronics and "software" department, let's say, very well developed and complete. As for the sensitivity to high ISOs, well it's certainly not a catch machine on the fly in dark or dim conditions, fatigue a bit. As far as I'm concerned, taking into account the right shooting safety times, when you get to the 1600 iso we are at the limit, if we wanted to make big prints later. If, on the other hand, our outputs are limited to photos from the web or at least prints less demanding in terms of size then you can go even further, 3200 - 6400. And it's not even a "vintage lens" machine, given the very high resolution and lack of the low-pass filter that amplifies the microdetail. So you have to take into account coupled with very bright and sharp lenses, it is not uncommon in fact to drool images with micromoxes that at the time of shooting, on display, you do not notice. But the most painful point, at least for me, is surely the autofocus that trudges pitifully into situations of lack of brightness - and I don't say darkness! There are those who responded by saying that you do not know how to use autofocus properly, but in reality you have to try to believe: tried in the rehearsal room, even with pilot light help for example, on subject medium illuminated by soft ambient light, with single-point focus mode, the car seals empty as if there were no tomorrow. It works a little better in these cases the group autofocus (new mode) although paradoxically it was not designed for studio portrait situations! I renew this review to date in 2020, after almost 5 years of use because I liked to share impressions following all the improvements recently made on digital machines and I refer to Mirrorless in particular. The D810 in my opinion is a very high-performance machine and with exceptional files to post produce especially in studio situations, still life but also landscapes or portraits, possibly static. I think it has very few rivals in this regard, even if we compare the last ML. If, on the other hand, we were looking for a higher operational speed, a better performing autofocus, for example typical situations in weddings, then maybe I would consider it more as a second body than as a first choice. My vote: 8

Pros: Body pro, detailed files, dynamic range super

Cons: heavy files, ISO sensitivity up to max 2500

Opinion: And 'an absolutely pro camera body, it is deducted from the functions-settings and strength. Is held in the hand is perfect and a sense of solidity, but not indifferent to the neck for a whole day with grafted a handyman type 24-70 2.8 becomes really heavy. Exceptional quality of files, impressive dynamic range, are recovered shadows and highlights with a disarming ease, perfect for photos from the studio, landscape and macro photography, I think in these three areas as its best as long as you use high goals quality. One of the good things about this machine is definitely the shutter as it is soft and quiet enough, it is a pleasure to shoot with that soft little noise when you press the shutter release button ... The files are very heavy and download a whole CF 64 GB becomes stressful, you have to have fast pC and next-generation speed for the job with the post production. The noise level is high already above 2500 ISO but the d810 in my opinion is not bornto work at high ISO. So if known how to use properly and with slow solving the d810 bakes really crazy and very detailed file but in my opinion it is not a "handyman" also pure because of a burst not particularly fast.

Pros: Robust camera, represents the ultimate synthesis and improved over the D800 and D800E. It ensures great clarity without sacrificing dynamic range.

Cons: Downsides are inextricably linked to those positive, which are the inevitable consequence: weight, size, noise above ISO 1600, the weight of the files, the need for high-quality optics, the trend moved

Opinion: I added this unit to my kit selling one of my two DF once occurred the need to cope with a job that requires large prints. In the past I have also had the D610 and D750 which now uses my daughter. I think it is a specialized unit, compared to the D610 and D750, more manageable by an amateur and more in keeping with the general needs of those who prefer the vision of their photos to display or print A3 +. The Df is considerably higher than in noise management, but holds much less well A1 format, but that is the field in which the D810 makes the difference. We are always there: once with a Nikon F was enough to change the type of film and you could face many different types of photography (the difference was with the medium and large format); Today is the sensor, but the builders are careful not realize interchangeable. However, this D810 ensures print quality equal to 6x7 on film. Color rendering, dynamic range, sharpness, autofocus, actionable, precisioThey the exposure, body building are all highly commendable. Finally, a very good airplane and is very rewarding both for the landscape and for the studio photographer, if in need of a higher quality than what is allowed for physical reasons the sensors less dense.

Pros: 36 Megapixel without filter AA (razor sharp) with a completely new sensor (compared to D800 / 800E). Various sizes of crop Room. Wind gusts up to 7fps (with battery grip). Robustness, "feeling" really professional (especially when used with BG). AF of high level (same characteristics as the D750)

Cons: ISO3200 very noisy, usable only with adequate lighting, but it is the normal price to pay for 36 mpx. Moire on fine details (caused by the absence of the filter AA) ... to be honest I do not even bother to.

Opinion: Certainly the full-frame camera sharper (until you pass the ISO 1600-2500) I've ever provato.rnMolte interesting customizations such as: rn- crop in various formats, in the room, which in addition to progressively increase the barrage from 5 to 7fps, reduces the size of NEF crazy if individuals do not cover the entire framern- AF class professional: fast, accurate and highly customizable (like Nikon D750 for those who know) rn- electronic shutter for an absolute reduction of vibrations (LiveView + MirrorUP) rn- mirror extremely quieter than the D800, with softer sound and plasticosorn- The OLED display resolution is beautiful, looks very good in bright light (not at the level of super amoled Samsung ... but cmq is a big step forward) rn- large buffer for rafficarn- really appreciate the dual memory slot SD + CF to recover lost memories from any other body provengarn- say good for video, but I do not do ever so I can not testimoniarernrnTrovo useful recognitionAlkaline or NiMH batteries for BG ... now that I use it in order to have, when needed, 7fps on 1.5x crop, I find this feature useful, given that around with mixed types of pile.rnrnLa machine is very responsive on each operation It is a pleasure usarla.rnrnSe the photo is in sharp focus and if the ISO does not exceed 1,600, you can to crop at will! I say this from personal experience. And up to ISO3200, always with the images perfectly in focus and subjects not too small (that is described by a reasonable number of pixels, such as for example a sparrow that covers 3000x2000 = 6mpx) it is easy to clean up images with the standard software of noise reduction and get a detail with few rivals on mercato.rnrnSicuramente the sensor does not return the same quality of D750 ... but they're still 12mpx more. Nothing is given in the technology. Then a step 750 -> 810 probably makes little sense, but certainly by other bodies, we realize the considerable differenza.rn

Pros: shutter redesigned, lack of AA filter, autofocus, spectacular files even in jpg

Cons: absolute need to use high-level optics, otherwise it is better not to buy it

Opinion: Let's talk about the machine that happens at 800E, then a big car. Af has dramatically improved, the 810 is adopting the D4s module, the result goes beyond all expectations. The sensor is the spectacular "almost 37" mpxl and this time absolutely no anti-aliasing filter, to ensure amazing results. Obviously moiré and aliasing I do not have to talk about it, at least for my photographic genre. The new shutter shakes the miracle, not a vibration, produces a noise that does not seem metallic but rather plastic, at the first shots I thought it was broken! Even high ISOs are improved, reaching the 6400 fairly smoothly, even though the performance of D4 and Df certainly does not reach. Beware of the optics, if you do not intend to invest, it is better not to buy the 810, it would make you damn. Excellent interaction I found with afs 24 f 1.4G, 35 f 1.4G, 85 1.4G, with 70-200 2.8 (but only with VR2!) And of course with superbo 50 mm Art. Improposable (always my opinadmissible notice) Very good but old style stuff for the film and I talk about the 85f 1.4, the good bighiera, the two defocus and other vintage monuments. What else to say is a challenging machine, who does not test it will never know what is the concept of high definition according to Nikon ... Vote 10 and praise, there was to be doubted it? NOTE: The writer is not an influencer in a guru, and not even one who downloads other images from the network to impersonate improbable comparisons. For almost forty years, a passionate nikonist of photography and photographic material has been, and my opinion is not a gospel, but only the result of empirical experience. The objects I write really buy them, I play a few months and if I do not like them, but always and in any case of material at the moment in my possession. I do not make the copy paste of reviews taken here and there on the net, if I'm talking about an item it's just and because I had in the house the time it took (at least months) to try to figure it out. SpesI know I'm going against current but this does not take me away from sleep as much as possible I try to help young aspiring photographers who give a weight to their savings. But, I repeat, I do not bring the verb ...

Pros: It's a fantastic car, a professional af module, well ups highs, ergonomics.

Cons: They are the burst shots, but you can overcome the inconvenience with the dx cutout.

Opinion: I personally use it since 9m since it bought it and it has not given me any problems, it has a great ergonomics that holds the big iso, I have seen photos made up to 12800 iso and are more than usable, I disagree With those who say he does not hold the tall iso, for fauna in the mountains with covered sky the early morning i used 4000 iso and i must not have disappointed. The Nikon d810 his heel of Achille is the high resolution of 36 mp, On the other hand, whoever says that autofocus is slow I find the opposite, mounts the same module of the Nikon D4s who says it's slow and because they do not know it just has the bottom, and I add that it does not hold the tall iso and always For the same reason the high resolution, I have taken birdfire shots on the fly and the use for naturalistic that is a real goduria.Va used with bright lenses and 'quality' not bottle bottoms. Another tip is to read For the instruction manual, and so many do not. My voteOr is 10 on10.

Pros: Sensor, Dynamic Range, ISO 64, AF, Buffer, Live View Great, Great Screen, Shutter Extremely quiet and vibration-free construction, Viewfinder, gusts to 7 FPS in DX with 8 AA or En-EL18, Ergonomics, First Curtain in Electronics M-Up, Noise up to ISO 3200, Complete Absence Filter AA Fund Video excellent, Yield Jpeg, Drive Pro

Cons: 5 FPS FX, Monitor does not swivel, especially in the video Moire

Opinion: 3B the 3D-tracking is precise and fast. Using it in DX has a great burst of 7 FPS that they're fine for any type of sport, and they still have 15 MP, almost like the D4S. The absence of the AA filter can be seen using the best optical (I use Zeiss) and comparing the images with a sensor provided with it (here I quote the D750 as the use together): Photos are sharper. In hand falls really well and is very comfortable and very tiring, much better than any other body which I used and second only to the D750 on which they made a small miracle ergonomic ... Clean up to 3200 ISO, I would not go well though up to 6400 in conditions of decent light it is fully usable at the expense of a reduced recovery of the shadows. The yield of the JPEG file is significantly improved by the new generation (D750, D810, D4S), the difference is most evident in the algorithms for noise suppression at high ISO. Unfortunately, sin for the lack of overhead monitor that is really the &# 39; egg of Columbus, on the D750 I appreciate it very much after denigrated before trying it ... Try it because it's really comfortable. The flurry of 5 FPS is not poor nor good, and that's why I put in against though it is the same as the D700 and nobody has ever complained ... We must also be careful to moire especially in video, I make very few but in those the few that I did I noticed so I guess for those who use it exclusively for that to be a problem. In conclusion: this car is fantastic, phenomenal, combined with the best lens gives the maximum and it is a pleasure to use, which ultimately is what matters. If I were to recommend buying this between the D750 and the D750 probably I recommend simply because it costs less, has a pivoting monitor and is smaller and manageable, so it's best for leisure. The D810 to work better mainly because of the arrangement of the controls Pro. If you have doubts, I refer you to meto review the D750.rnPer end I want to give a vote in this D810, and can not be more than 10! It 'really amazing ...

Cons: Burst miserable, nef very large

Pros: Sensor, ergonomics, excellent resolution, low noise

Cons: I would have preferred a faster burst, at least 8 fs, I have not found other defects

Opinion: Machine body great, solid feel and quiet operation are excellent. Focus not fast for shots on the fly, holds very well the Dynamic AF, has all the necessary functions for a wide range of photography. The price is high, but is part of the market. I tried it with different objectives and the results have always been above expectations. It 's time to prove it on the field and then we'll see if they confirm the first impression.

Pros: Superlative image quality, perfect ergonomics

Cons: Electronic curtain only Mup

Opinion: I come from the fantastic d800, I replaced it with the d810 which has proved a device actually improved in many aspects, the fields that excite me the most and 'the incredible sharpness, especially coupled with the 14-24, the white balance which offers beautiful colors, the shot that conveys solidity and apparent reduction of vibrations, unlike before I can use slower times without incurring moved and, using the electronic first curtain if only I mup.La dynamic range e'pazzesca , as it was also in the d800, recoveries highlights and shadows completely. Pros: Sensor, ergonomics, ease of use (still benefited from the fact that they had the D3), extremely quiet, 64ISO, flash on board (which never hurts) Crazy dynamic range, burst in DX format, light weight, 36 million pixel .. .

Cons: Yet I found it ... I would not be sorry if he still had the dual slot CF, but apparently there was no room!

Opinion: Happy owner of a few months of this camera body, in my opinion, outstanding! Coming from a flagship like the D3 have not heard particular deficiencies, but ... the quality of the raw is amazing! I found impressive dynamic range! I heard in the management of difficulty and shake-forum ... I personally I had none.

Pros: Quality, imporstazioni pro, burst above expectations, buffer, several possibilities of format, size.

Cons: High ISO. lack swiveling display.

Opinion: I come from a d750 that unfortunately they stole after 3 months. I decided to open the d810 to superstition ... I must say I was pleasantly surprised the shooting speed and excellent buffer. The quality of the file is clearly high and allows you to make substantial crop. I love the various settings PRO present. Choose between different sizes of shot is really useful when you need the highest quality .... that many times is unnecessary and too heavy. the only thing that disappoints me (but I already knew) is the quality at high ISO (for instance 6400) I expected a bit 'better .... clearly in this parameter the d750 is far superior !!!! UPDATE (after a little more time to use in various fields photo I feel absolutely happy ..... only thing I miss is the swiveling display and a greater engagement of the autofocus in low light ..... the d750 in this was a bit 'better !!)

Pros: Solidity, autofocus, dynamic range, ability to recover light and shadow.

Cons: Honestly I can not find, at least for the utilizzzo that I do (nature photography fauna of high mountains). If someone creates problems heavy files or if you are looking for a better burst, there are other options, however, which in turn benefits and limitations.

Opinion: I must say that after having owned D300s, D7100 and D610, the D810 I really found what I was looking for. I find it very robust and practical to use. Of course it also has some limitations in some areas, but the perfect machine for all does not exist! Falls well in hand and of secondhand very accurate both in focus, both in following moving subjects. Ever since I own, in post production, almost no work on more clarity, because it is amazing the outset. In general, if you expose properly, RAW files require really very few interventions. Absolutely satisfied with the choice. For my kind of nature photography, and practically almost exclusively in the mountains, is perfect!

Pros: Without repeating what has already been written, I add: excellent stability at high iso, totally customizable for the photos to videos, no shake-using it freehand on time security (with the amount of such a high megapixel his two sisters are much more severe), convenient function weighted highlights ... more, contrary to what has been written, I find it very intuitive menu navigation, monitor truly magnificent and faithful colors.

Cons: Small upper display, coupled Battery Grip-camera aesthetically uneven method to charge batteries really annoying and impractical ... to charge the primary battery (in the camera) must disassemble the Battery Grip !!! (In one of the two D200 batteries were both in the handle), no backlight buttons. As for the storage I would have preferred two Compact Flash.

Opinion: I come from the now venerable D200 bought back in 2006 and the jump is unmatched !!! rnLe my fears, before you buy it, they were mainly two: the size of the files and the fact that, taking freehand also respecting the times of safety, I'd stumbled into the shake-... while my other concerns were mostly dictated by what I read on various reviews and more precisely (I quote a few): plasticosità of the camera body, little strength, menu too complex and intricate, etc .. . but I changed my mind! rnNon soon as I assembled (battery Grip - camera) and I did the first shots, gave me a really good feeling of handling, robustness, and ease of use (all buttons fully accessible) and I also found that working in post production of the files is very fluid and veloce.rnSono extremely pleased and I think, after spending 9 years with the beautiful D200, it will spend at least 9 others with this great camera!

Pros: 64 ISO, ergonomics, excellent silent shutter than the D700, exceptional sharpness, electronic first curtain in Mup for maximum sharpness on a tripod, so AF group.

Cons: files size, high price, in Auto WB I noticed an over-saturation of the blue.

Opinion: I switched from D700 to D810 this, the impression that I had just taken in hand was the feeling of a camera body almost less robust ...., holding the D700 was cold or you had the feeling of having a body where the metal was felt. In this D810 is definitely better ergonomics: excellent grip. The transition from 12 to 36 megapixel megapixel was not easy. That said I am very happy with the change and I think a very good machine.

Pros: Resolution with a "reserve" of incredible sharpness, try to crop and enlarge it to believe it. Exceptional dynamic range. Excellent grip. Faster and more 'precise focus

Cons: Slow focus in Liew View if the light is not 'optimal. Gust not too fast for certain types of photos (sports, wildlife, etc.). Lack of multi-angle monitor. Lack of access if not as expensive as accessory wireless remote controllers of high cost if original. Still lack of touch-screen in a Nikon SLR. Price elevato.rnNei first lots offered for sale problem of dots of light with long exposures, solved with "remapping" of the sensor and the new firmware.

Opinion: After trying several reflex both Canon and Nikon, 800E included, I note the best clarity and dynamic range that has so far found. I consider it superior to Nikon 800E that already was excellent: the new processor does an excellent job and jpg files are compared to the past already of excellent quality and the focus is precise (in Live View only on condition of good lighting and more time ). I do not agree that it is not robust, the materials are of high quality, mostly 'metal alloys for the basic structure; I see the plastic used in the structures more 'external. Customizations in the menu 'are rational and made to meet the various needs of the photographer, more' than anything else to be understood well the nuances between a setting the other, sometimes not very well clarified in the instructions. I had to send in assistance the cameras just bought for the problem immediately segnalatomi from Nikon of the bright spots with long exposures (serial number fell between those in need of "care" and the tests made by me confirmed it). After a week the reflex and she returned with several tests I have not encountered any more defect.

Pros: 36 megapixels, dynamic range, quiet

Cons: It does not seem too strong, a lot of plastic. Live view in low light conditions unsatisfactory

Opinion: I state that I come from machines and optical per canon, my change was made because I was fascinated by the sensor 36mpx and its dynamic range. Nothing to complain about it with regard to image quality, the menu and the many useful features. Compared with the bodies of pro canon I was used to see and hear a little too much plasticosità enough to get an impression of not strength. The live view is 20 years back .... if it is used in low light seems to use a cell phone at night, graininess and flicker a go go, unacceptable to me on a pro body. For the rest great macchina.rn

Cons: preserves the typical menu of all Nikon, unintuitive, search for the item that interests you unravel a maze. Unsuitable for the portrait. Price too high. Used 64 ISO seems to suffer from banding.rnrnVideo at 60 FPS while other brands are already rolling 4K.rnrnLa the continued absence of a tilting screen on the machines of this band is inexplicable, especially if you claim to consult a professional.
