Pros: Bright, not too heavy

Cons: From 36 mpx it begins to show the rope decisively, strong chromatic aberration at full aperture, soft edges to the most open diaphragms

Opinion: I was thrilled with it until I loved it on the D3x or D750. I'm trying it these days on the D800 and there many limitations of this optics have emerged: at full aperture it is very subject to chromatic aberration (like almost all the lenses in the world), it becomes decidedly soft and - who knows why - sometimes bicks with the AF of the D800 itself. Up to 5.6 it remains soft at the edges, then luckily it corrects itself and becomes much more even. Maybe I'm finding trivial things that also apply to other Nikon lenses, but really its ideal size seems to be that of 24 mpx, where you notice less the differences center-edges to the more open apertures. In any case, it does its job and remains a valid complement to SLR cameras with less definition.

Pros: Crisp, light, colors, nano Cristal..

Cons: For me nothing...

Opinion: In my modest opinion and an extraordinary wide... it doesn't cost a RENE and gives shots up to much more expensive lenses... When I took it looking at the building I thought I made a mistake... but looking at the prints it was a nice and pleasant surprise... I use it mainly on the DF and I let you imagine... I don't place my photos on the internet etc. I come from old school and I love the photographic press... for me the photo is the print... and with this 28 I always get what I want!! Thank you and good Nikon!!

Pros: Ta sharpness, light, fast AF

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Recently taken and used for a baptism and wedding, my Nikon D3x looks reborn. Small and light, (almost not felt) in TA is very sharp and I am very happy with the purchase. AF very fast compared to my Nikon af-s 28-70 f2.8. I recommend it for those like me who have back problems and want a professional and ultra valid fixed.

Pros: Af, sharpness, lightness, transportability

Cons: Material Quality, Focus Dial in Bad Manual

Opinion: ... too bad for the quality of the materials with which this optics is built because the results are really good. Too bad for the focus dial in the really bad manual (unfortunately I do not find other adjectives) because in Af it is amazing. Too bad to have the feeling of managing Barbie's camera focus because as 28mm you defend really well, nothing to say. Too bad for the TA vignette because otherwise the quality of the images has nothing to envy to the 28mm most ephaly ephaed. Too bad I didn't have it before because the temptation is to stop taking it out of the car.

Pros: Sharp enough at full aperture, acceptable vignetting for focal, lightness, minimal distortion.

Cons: Not very high level construction

Opinion: I use this lens now fixed on D810, is a focal that allows me to do many types of framing more on the D810 with more closed diaphragms allows me to make large cuttings with little loss is like having a 35 and a 50 mm and even a little ' more. I'm used to old optics even from the construction of metal and heavy, when I unmount it seems to me a toy type the old 35-70 4-5.6 mounted on the SLR years ' 90 but when you look at the photos you realize that is a good optics, taken only to lighten the B It Agaglio and keep it always mounted, I was tempted to take the Sigma 28 art. But a little for the excessive price and a bit ' thinking about the weight I chose with great satisfaction this optics to which the strongest criticism is that of construction is not worthy of the brand.
