Pros: Image quality

Cons: Af

Opinion: The greatest advantage of this machine is the resolution combined with the cleanliness of the file and therefore the consequent great versatility in the post-production phase. Consider that cropping the photograph to 2x you have a file with 20mp left, enough for medium-sized prints and abundant for web use. When you don't need 100mp, like for Sunday trips, I happen to use it with only 20-35mm and taking into account the crop factor 0.8x it's like having a 20mp 16-70mm of very high quality, and with tolerable size and weight. Obviously, the real potential comes to the fore when you take full advantage of the resolution, which is obvious given the amount of information present. Ergonomically it is almost perfect and even on the software side it is quite simple to set up. The ISO seal is great, better than the 50S II I had before this one. 6400 iso can be used without fear even in environments such as churches or poorly lit places; Even at these sensitivities there is still a bit of room for recovery on lights and shadows. Of course the complete cleaning is achieved at lower isos like all other machines, and there you can scramble the file mercilessly! The af almost makes the chickens laugh, I say almost because the 50SII makes them laugh completely. In closed environments, especially if poorly lit and with warm lights such as the typical rooms where we live, it is difficult to hook up. In his partial defense, it must be said that he is precise. In a lot of light it's fine and gets pretty fast. The stabilizer is very effective, with the 80mm you shoot at 1/20 and the photo is still, and a still photo with 100mp at 1/20 is not something to be taken for granted. The viewfinder is decent, the magnification is perfect but it's the resolution that's just enough, anyway it's usable. The rear monitor is comfortable while not being fully articulated. The overall construction is very good. Overall a machine that is worth all the 4400 euros it is at today with cashback. I would also say something more for the extraordinary image quality.

Pros: To date I believe one of the machines that produces the best file you can have in terms of quality. Dimensions "contained" to be an MF

Cons: Real and tangible in my opinion nothing

Opinion: It's a crazy machine, it produces excellent files with incredible definition. The must have for landscape designers and portraitists. But it's not the comfortable camera to carry around, not so much for the size of the body (which is as big as a fullframe SLR) as for the optics that are huge and heavy. It is not the machine for sports or birdlife or even for doing street, but for fashion, landscape or architecture photos I do not think there is a better machine today than this.

Pros: Excellent file quality, stellar iso seal, great workability of the file, compactness considering the type of sensor, super stabilization, super versatile monitor perfect for photos, in short, a wonder ...

Cons: Bah so on two feet I am not coming anything precise, but clearly perfection does not exist ....

Opinion: Machine amazingly versatile as well as great quality of the file and everything else that I have already mentioned in the Pros .. What can I say more, the 3d perception and realism that returns is certainly a step higher than the FF, then in the iso seal there is the total jump and for what it costs today I think it is an unmissable machine for those who love to do everything except hunting photography and sports photos, which then at an amateur level these more dynamic genres are quietly the same ... Compactness, lightness and versatility are its strengths that helped by the magnificent stabilization allows very slow shutter speeds, type, 100s + 100-200 you shoot handheld serenely up to 1/10s or even less, that is stratospheric stuff for the optical type, camera and sensor .... I took it with the intent to try it and then sell it after a few years, but now it is over a year in my possession and honestly to give it away does not come to me just .... I repeat, for what it costs today I consider it an unmissable machine for all those who have invested certain figures on the latest FF models, that is, the landscaper today can no longer use an FF, because at the same cost there is better ....

Pros: image quality, ergonomics, system with excellent lenses and on which old lenses fit easily

Cons: None in its field of use, except moire and that 1/125 for flash is not much

Opinion: Recently taken with 45 and 110, plus 20mm tilt-shift laowa. For now tested only with 45, it gave me very good feelings. It looks good in the hand, it focuses without problems (I have not yet tried dynamic situations, but for now the focus eye for what I do is fine). Fantastic image quality, but I did photo tests, in which I see moire on a wire mesh... In theory with the multi-click it should disappear, but it remains a big hassle because the multi-shot presupposes absolute immobility and can not always be done.

Pros: Crazy quality of the files (for those who print large), weight, ergonomics, it is silent, tropicalized, robust. The price is high but I find that it is absolutely proportional to the value of this jewel.

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I had her on trial for two months, taking her on a fairly wild trip, before, and an easier one in the Balkans. Crazy machine, with excellent quality in a body all in all small and light (to be an MF). It is worth every single penny of the price at which it is proposed. The files are very heavy (200 mb), but it is obvious. It is useless that I get lost in the technical specifications because, honestly, I do not care. Basically, the moment I had it with me, my approach to photographing changed. Or rather, it adapted, becoming slower and more reasoned, a bit as if I had an analog MF in my hands. Up to 3200 iso the files are incredible then lose a little, but going further I do not know how much sense it makes. The gust seems to me not to be very fast (however good), but I have not even tried it. In any case, the GFX100S is the best camera I've ever seen/tried. Pretend you have a Mamiya 7, but digital. If the shot is born first in your mind you will appreciate it, if instead you are looking for speed and "stolen shots" forget it. Last thing, I usually use a D810 + 28 mm and a Sony a7iii + 24-70: there is no comparison, the Gfx + 45 mm (35 equivalent) is a thousand times more comfortable than both, especially the Sony (very unbalanced).
