Pros: Nesting, very little distortion, af

Cons: Nothing relevant at the moment

Opinion: Excellent lens with "right focal lengths"! The 20 40 for me is the right wide-angle compromise. The 16mm was too wide for my photographic style and the 35mm is my lens with which I shoot practically everything. So, with the 20 40 I bring home most of the work: weddings, shootings and events and panoramas. The constant 2.8 aperture makes it bright and suitable for everything. I haven't noticed flare or aberrations yet. Sharp in the center already at full opening and good at the edges. At least, my specimen is. If you close at f4 it is a blade. Very responsive AF. Coupled with my Tamron 35 150 2 2.8 I can cover any type of event. In my opinion it can be the right compromise for those like me who are used to working with a fixed 35 because for speed you can easily get to a 20 without changing lens or carrying two camera bodies.
