Una volta le foto che facevo avevano il solo scopo di documentare i posti visti per farmeli rivivere e riassaporare. Poi, col tempo, la fotografia è diventata qualcosa di più, anche se rimane sempre un corollario e mai la ragione prima del viaggio. Insomma, mi ritengo più un viaggiatore che un fotografo. A dire il vero, neanche un viaggiatore, ché con questo termine si vorrebbe individuare colui che si differenzia dal turista, visto che, campando d'altro, più che poche, risicatissime, settimane consecutive non posso prendermi. Magari con gusti un po' diversi dalla maggioranza, ma pur sempre turista.
