panasonic_s5Panasonic S5

Pros: stabilization, quality and raw workable, menu', evf, adjustable LCD, video quality.

Cons: I would have preferred double slots with the same speed...

Opinion: I've had quite a few machines, I like to change and so I can say I've tried almost every mirrorless of any brand. My last were a z6, a canon r6, s1, xt4. Before taking the s1 I had purchased the s5, but, wanting to try the top of the s1 range, I sold the s5 and bought the s1, waiting for the adjustment to arrive that would take it to the same level of autofocus as the s5. The day of the highly anticipated update has arrived and this has not happened, the s1 has improved a little, but it is not at the same level af as the s5. therefore... I took back the s5... I love this car, so much so that I bought it back... has an extreme raw work. Extreme shadows can be recovered, unthinkable with other brands... In the z6, for example if you pushed a little on the recovery of shadows, the damn banding popped up... The r6 didn't get to these results, also because the sensor works better on the recovery of high lights... Not even with the s1 could I recover the shadows like this. Often it is often felt that it is not necessary to have all these possibilitys, just take a well-exposed photo... but... I don't think so... Personally I want to have the opportunity in front of a scene with a wide dynamic range of subexpose so as not to burn the lights and recover later in post. You don't always have a flash at hand and you don't always want to use it, so, this is a possibility I don't want to give up. The autofocus for me is exceptional: I often hear bad talk about the autofocus of panasonics. Probably on the micro 43 there was a fund of truth, now for me (especially on the s5) the af is the best I have ever tried. Obviously I talk about my needs and my way of photographing: it is precise (more than machines with phase detection), it is a rocket in single focus (there are machines that have a scary AFC and a single to throw in the toilet, like the a7iiii) and it gives me a feeling of safety that makes me feel comfortable. When I focus (unless I make mistakes) I know, with certainty, that the photo is in focus ... I like colors a lot, they have a very leic character (and I personally love that color paste). On the video side I don't want to talk about it... in its price range there are no machines that approach us: 4:2:2 and 10 internal bits. I I'm excited about this machine (I think you get it). If I have to find an aspect that I would change it is the second slot not uhs ii.

panasonic_s20-60Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6

Pros: Colors Lightness Bokeh Effect 20mm

Cons: Nothing to declare.

Opinion: Great.Beautiful colors, blurry very nice, quick and light. A lens to have. I was pleasantly impressed by this view so much that I would prefer it by far to 24 105.I would recommend it to everyone. He is a objective gentleman for the price at which it is proposed, considering that in kits it costs about 300 euros...

olympus_em5_iiiOlympus OM-D E-M5 III

Pros: autofocus, burst, file quality, camera-produced jpeg, tilting screen.

Cons: initial feeling of little robustness.

Opinion: I bought this car without ever trying it, the physical store did not have it in the store and I had to buy it in a closed box. The feeling just had in hand was sincerely bad: accustomed to the old em5 (i and ii) the feeling with polycarbonate was initially bad. using it a couple of days I began to appreciate it more and more, noting that in fact the build quality of the machine was excellent... (You can see small things such as the noise it makes when you close the tipper screen, or the solidity of the door close. Moving on to use... The machine is excellent, the biggest upgrade is the phase-sensing autofocus... in the videos is a godsend. I come from a gh5 that I sold for precisely this reason (the unreliability' of the autofocus even after the famous update). I used gh5 always in manual, and as much as it is provided with all the possible and imaginable aids, an autofocus that works is something else... So in my video work I'm much faster thanks to autofocus. The best video quality is with the 4k cinematic format, the 4k format 4/3 have a much lower quality. The quality of the full hd is not at the level of gh5, but in 4k (film format) the quality is high. So for videos, although the videos are not 4/2/2 to 10 bits and blah blah blah, practically for my work I prefer it to gh5. The stabilization is a span above the gh5, on this it does not rain, as well as the photographic quality. The raw are much more workable than the first em5 and I am very satisfied with the quality of the same. Concluding... As soon as I had it in my hand I assure you that I wanted to resell it immediately because of the plastic sensation that gave me... after a week of use, I can say that it is the most complete four-thirds micro I have ever had (I had several Olympus and several Panasonics) and I am very satisfied with the machine... I recommend it? absolutely yes. It also had the double sd and the vlog would be the perfect machine.
